Reversinf traffic on this block will be a giant step in the right direction. Please do it!

Do get rid of this street. It will allow creation of a nice space with trees and benches. Combined with reversing flow on D, it will do much to discourage cars in this area.

Would a small traffic circle here make cars behave better?

A fountain here is a great idea; DC doesnt have enough of them. Please don't make it interactive. This is a busy area not suited for that type of activity. Make ot like the lovely Mellon fountain by the National Gallery. (That would be rised and should discourage rats.) Add a few benches and it will be a lovely place to rest in the middle of the hubbub.

I'm very concerned that long benchs here would become a homelss hotel. If you put in the benches, make sure they have arm rests so tha there's no way to lie down.

Bike lanes inthis median would be a great idea, but I understand that DDOT has asked you not to tinker with Pa. Ave. Please DO NOT put in raised walls.

A dog park would fill a real need, and would safeguard other uses.

I agree with the comments aobut the too-clever play area. Put in simple, tried-and-true equipment, such as we have in Lincoln Park, and the area will be much better. Please forget the education component -- it won't be maintained or used as intended. This is one of those trendy ideas that looks good to architects, but doesn't work in the real world.

We are running out of space for monuments. Placing appropriately scaled statues in this median (a la Monument Avenue in Richmond, although on a smaller scale) would be a great idea.

The bus stop here absolutely must go! It belongs in the same black as the Metro station.

This street should definitely be closed and used for park space. The idea of a fountain is a great one. With traffic on D reversed, the utililty of this steet will appproach zero.

Please DO NOT widen 7th Street. We need to discourage traffic, not facilitate it.

Please consider elm trees, which I belive grow much fater than what's there now.

The library expnasion idea is wonderulf, if we can get the funding. I could live with the cube, but it would be much nicer to have a lovely glass dome in the style of the old (now torn down) botanical garden. Glass and a Victorian design would be the best of both worlds.

Please do revers the traffic flow. This will do much to improve the area by removing cars from the street

Please include a small dog park somewhere. DC has a dearth of off leash dog parks

I agree with what a few commenters have said about perhaps widening 7th into Parcel 4 a bit to allow for better parking/car share/taxi placement. There's room in the park; why not use it to help a congested street?

I don't hate the glass cube, but it seems like the funding for this is a long way off, especially with the current closures of the library for major building maintenance.

With all the new plantings please review the rat issue, during the summer walking at night I've had to dodge rats coming in and out of the shrubs.

DC needs more interactive fountains. Jamison Park in Portland Oregon (and many others there) are great models to reference.

I like the bosque concept A- elegant-simple and user friendly. Fountain definitely. Library idea is a great use of space - more trees,
