I personally have noticed at the intersection of 26th and Campus Way, that there is no stop sign for people going west. I think this might be because there is only a bike lane that goes west on Campus Way, but it might help get cyclists to stop when I’m sure that’s meant to be a four way stop intersection.

The connection for cyclists between the Washington Way multi-use path and 30th at this intersection is not intuitive. This can result in friction with motorists who can't easily anticipate a cyclist's turning movement.

23rd is listed in the Corvallis TSP as a low stress neighborhood bikeway. However, at this critical juncture with campus, there is little accommodation to facilitate bicyclists crossing the angled cross section onto campus at Memorial Place. Engineering solutions to ease the crossing might include a bicycle left turn lane on Monroe. Bicycle wayfinding should also guide cyclists to the neighborhood bikeway from Memorial Place.

Missing sidewalk on eastbound side of the street.

Pavement condition along this segment of Campus Way is very poor, bordering on unsafe for cyclists.

Northbound bike lane on 14th disappears in the intersection, leading to a last minute merge mid-intersection for bicyclists and motorists. Motor vehicles are never expected to merge mid-intersection, and cyclists should not be expected to do this either. A green box at 14th would facilitate left turns for northbound cyclists onto Monroe, but it does not completely solve the issue of the disappearing lane.

There is not adequate accomodations or signage for pedestrians crossing 35th at the terminus of the multi-use path.

This intersection is a difficult crossing for bicyclists and pedestrians - it is not clear to motorists that they are approaching a crossing. A lit crossing such as a rapid flash beacon would be helpful here.

There is no wayfinding or other indication along here that Campus way is a primary access point into the university ofr cyclists. There should be sharrows and wayfinding signs along Campus Way from the arch at ALS past 35th street to the sign indiating "road closed to through-traffic." Speed mitigation designs such as pedestrian bulb-outs would also be helpful.

Poor lightling along multi-use path.

This parking lot is a broken link between Campus Way and Madison Avenue, which are primary bicycle routes between downtown and the Campus Way bike path to the west. This parking lot needs to be redesigned to accommodate bike traffic headed in both directions, to connect with the Madison Avenue low stress bikeway (in the Corvallis TSP project list)

Not enough bike racks.

High volumes of bike and pedestrian traffic at class change are compounded by the lack of traffic controls in the contraflow bike lanes. This intersection is an excellent candidate for a roundabout!

This intersection is extremely dangerous at dusk. It gets a high volume of pedestrians, cyclists, and cars. Between the odd angles and poor lighting, stop sign control isn't enough. Better crosswalk specific illumination would help a great deal.

Gravel parking area difficult to maintain and detracts from campus experience.

Skateboarders riding down the garage ramps! Dangerous in many ways. Poorly enforced

This stretch of roadway needs more defined separation between pedestrians, bicycles, ad pedestrians. The current design is not clear or convenient and all modes end up blending together.

Pedestrians do not have a safe place to cross Western between 26th and 35th. Those who live and park south of Western in this area have to dash between cars, as there are no designated pedestrian crossings. If there was a crosswalk, light or other ped signal near 30th it would help reduce the possibility of an accident.
