Consider using the right of way provided by the Trolley line as a bike/ped path into Portland! It would be a much safer and more level route than using hwy 43 or Terwilliger.
-
How about a bridge of our own?
-
Speeding traffic, noise control, trimet slides in black ice
-
Turning this freight rail bridge into a bike ped connection between the trolley trail (on the east side) and the west side of the river would make a great connection that is much needed in Clack Co. We lack good river crossings for bike/ped transportation.
-
Please keep the Canby Ferry operating. I'd be happy to pay $1-2 as a bike or ped rider on the ferry to get across the river!
-
Milwaukie has included Monroe as a bike route on their TSP and bike maps. It would be nice if Clack Co could extend that bike route (using good signage) east all the way to the 205 bike path.
-
It would be nice if there were shoulders wide enough on Rail Road Ave to ride a bike, but it would be even better if there was a dedicated bike/ped path on the north or south side of this road extending from Oak St to Harmony Rd!
-
Please remove the Sunnybrook extension from the TSP, and then ask Metro to remove it from the RTP. After that, work with metro to secure funding to make this into a park that we all can enjoy! It should not have been included in the last TSP. Please preserve the few remaining white oak trees we have!

Oak Grove Blvd. in downtown Oak Grove is a diamond in the rough - a once buzzing main street back in the day that could use shopping, safe bike/ped access from River Road, and become a community gathering place.
-
River Road is increasingly becoming more of a car thruway and increased speeding traffic makes ped activities unsafe. Lower speed limit? Speed bumps? Larger - and more - sidewalks.
-
Now that the trolley trail is nearly complete, it would be great to see more thought put into a safe and easy connection from Gladstone to Oregon City and farther onto other areas South.
-
Car Crashes, not safe, too much traffic
-
Car crashes, not safe
-
Connect Main St. up to the Springwater Corridor Trail. this would make traveling into Milwaukie much easier for bikers. Now they have to come down the steep switchback to the sidewalk on McLoughlin, ride against traffic on the sidewalk too Moores or Ochoco and then travel on Main St. Main St. is not traveled very much and makes a good bike route. Just needs easier access to the Trail.
-
large potholes along Jennings in front of TEBOs (at corner); also, McLoughlin at Jennings – the signal triggers make the road bumpy
-
how about more ferries over the Willamette?
-
bus service on Lake and River Road – service improvements need to respond to retiring population
-
safety, lack of adequate facilities for bikes and peds
-

-
geology of Elk Rock Tunnel – potential collapse from slide or earthquake
-
consider link of Lewis and Clark campus and Law School with Sellwood Bridge via bike trail; utilize Tryon Creek SP as restroom area; avoid OR 43 bike lanes
-
consider rebuild of Terwilliger Blvd (Clack Co Rd 21092) for high speed bike use, consider bridge across Tuyon Creek Ravine to 1st Street in Lake Oswego
-
do not consider Fielding Road (Clack Country Road 21085) for bike boulevard treatment or classification
-
ped crossing on McLoughlin – very dangerous to bus or businesses
