We need shade along this entire road leading into downtown. We are within "walking distance" but the bright Florida sun makes it impossible during the day.

At this intersection the northbound traffic goes from two lanes to three, and so cars tend to step on the gas. The 35mph speed limit is a joke. Bicyclists take their life in their hands on most of US1. This stretch (between Northlake and the Parker Bridge) is a speedway for cars, and dangerous for cyclists.

PGA and US1 is an AWFUL intersection, regardless of whether you are driving, walking or biking. Drivers routinely drive in and stop across the bike lane.

In the interest of creating a more bike and walk friendly environment, there should be several crossings for pedestrians and bikes across Dixie to get to S Flagler and the bike/walk path along the Intercoastal. I would suggest some of the through streets such as Ardmore/Granada and/or Sunset

A Traffic Light at Palm Street and South Dixie Highway is important. It is a dangerous crossing without one. Additionally, it would better link Hive Home Gift and Garden, Table 26, and numerous other retailers with the Norton Museum, improving the pedestrian experience.

Dixie Highway between Okeechobee and Albemarle should be reduced from 4 to 2 travel lanes plus a turn lane and landscaped median to enhance pedestrian traffic and business opportunity by increasing on street parking, better crosswalks and shade trees. Id we don't enhance business opportunities for small business, will eventually be overrun by big business. This improvement will improve traffic flow and prevent parking spill over into the neighborhoods. Do not let a small, vocal group of residents persuade you otherwise.

We need slower automobile traffic, wider sidewalks and shade trees to make this street friendly to pedestrians.

Critically important to maintain the pedestrian crossing the closest distance from the museum's parking to the new front door on S. Dixie. Shade trees and wider sidewalks are necessary to improve the pedestrian experience.

It is critical to maintain the signaled crosswalk from the Norton Museum's parking lot across S Dixie closest to the new front door on S. Dixie. Trees and wider sidewalks are desperately needed for pedestrians.

Please do not put a bike path on the stretch between Okeechobee Blvd and Albemarle. Not enough room.

I love this pedestrian underpass. Why isn't there one built for the new north bridge.

Valet parking here blocks the sidewalk so that pedestrians have to walk out onto busy Lakeview traffic to get past.

No bike lanes north of Belvedere. Too dangerous, will interfere with other improvements and are not necessary because of city's master bike plan.

Is there anyway to make this downtown corridor safer for bicyclers?

There is no left hand turn for drivers from the east who want to access the parking for the convention center. Instead they have to continue straight and make a u-turn at Sapodilla Ave which is a dangerous place to u-turn.

Walking here is harrowing to say the least. Is there any way to make this more pleasant?

Make this a two way road so the 500+ tenants of Two City Plaza can either go north on Olive or south on Dixie.

Make some attractive barrier between Quadrille Linear Park and the train tracks.

A person living here in this future condo / apt and wants to commute on Brightline (a stones through away) they would have to walk a block or two north or south, a block west, then a block or two north or south again. Make an overpass?

For future Brightline commuters: There is no way for walkers / cyclers to access east onto Datura or Evernia Streets without walking a block north or south and then doubling back.

An ivy covered wall or other arty device should be placed between the train tracks and Quadrille Linear Park. Safety and aesthetic concern here.

Is there not going to be any easy way to get on and off Brightline and walk east to downtown?! Major mistake here. There should be an overpass of some sort.

are we not having discussion about the traffic problems on Okeechobee. Shrinking the road while increasing the development is counterintuitive. in other words no common sense. please take a step back and think

No way taking the road from 4 lanes plus a turn lane at Albemarle Rd. to 3 lanes north of the light...the project ends at the at the intersection as south of the light remains 4 lanes this about as dumb and as dangerous as it gets ! Plus the preposed development to the west of the intersection is preposed at 5 building 12 stories tall plus retail two stories of retail with ingress and express at the Albemarle light ! This is insane !!
