The north side of his intersection is horrible. There is not a turn lane, and motorists crowd around each other to turn right, blocking way for each other and cyclist. The bicycle lane ends at the intersection and picks up around the corner on Rocky Ridge.
I have seen at least two cyclist in accidents where 65 merges with Blue Oaks. Would a cycle bridge be doable? Very risky to ride anywhere near 65.
I would like to see shared use trails from the existing shared trails around Folsom lake up to the Auburn area. I know Auburn Folsom Rd. is an option but I won't bike it and I won't allow my children on it either.
Please finish trail from treelake park to folsom lake
There is a sign here asking cyclist to ride on the side walk, behind the street barrier. The vegetation is not maintained, and drapes over the sidewalk and there is typically debris on the side walk. Ideally, a clear path behind the barrier which was widened and maintained would work best for cyclists and pedestrians.
I know this is a golf course... couldn't some agreement be made for a bike path through the golf course to get to Pleasant Grove or Woodcreek Oaks and on to the Library.
finish trail from treelake to Barton or Folsom Lake.
Please create a better bike route connection from the Veterans Park North side to meet up with the path along Antelope Creek. The way it is now means riding across some grass and gravel.
Bike path to connect Auburn-Folsom to paths within the SRA along Douglas Blvd.
There is open park land on Fiddymentand Blue Oaks. Future bike route through this piece of land could be connected to the path off of Orchard and with the route on Greatfield Dr.
Douglas Blvd. between Rocky Ridge & Vernon, and Sunrise Ave. between the county line and Lead Hill need extensive bike signage and improvements.
This path along Pleasant Grove Creek needs to be completed; it's been broken for 10 years.
This missing link needs to be completed
If this trail (or Foothill) connected to Cincinnati Ave., I would have a much safer bicycle commute to my job (near sunset and 65) than having to go across the Blue Oaks bridge and up Industrial -- both dangerous to bicyclers.
Continue shared use path from Tree lake park to Barton or beyond to Auburn-Folsom/Folsom lake trail. The trail is already there, but is not improved enough to even walk. Paving or decomposed granite trail with the blackberry bushes controlled and creek crossings. It is paved from Sierra College Blvd to Tree-lake. It could go all the way to the lake.
This needs to connect Washington somehow
A separate bike path/bridge across both Highway 65 and the railroad tracks would provide much safer access to cyclists and pedestrians who live in Rocklin and West Roseville. Freeway on-ramp/off-ramp bridges are just not safe for cyclists. And the Blue Oaks bridge over the tracks near Foothills is too narrow for cyclists to feel safe.
This has got to be connected somehow to the east and south parts of the major routes
Fiddyment from Roseville to Moore Road is a accident waiting to happen. It is so dangerous on a bike. Since several have already mentioned adding bike lanes to Industrial I'll put in my 10 coins worth on Fiddyment.
This is a highly traveled cycling route. It is one of the primary routes to access Penryn, Newcastle, and Auburn. Even a small shoulder would go a long way to improving safety on this route.
Need a safe crossing at hwy 65. Blue Oaks, especially eastbound, and Pleasant Grove are not safe. Way too much traffic, high speed traffic, and sketchy/unsafe intersections. With the trail closed at Berry, there is no safe route to get across hwy 65.
A wider shoulder between Athens and 12 Bridges would be greatly appreciated.
193 could really use a wider shoulder along here.
This light could really use a bike sensor. Both from King and Sierra College
Please repair damage from winter storms
