Reserve is not safe for bicyclists or pedestrians because car drivers speed through and often make turns onto Diamond Oaks without checking for bicyclists or pedestrians. I travel through this area daily on bicycle using caution.

  2. June 09 2017

There is severe need for a Placer County bicycling route from Baxter to Cisco Grove (working with CalTrans) to enable paved cycling from the western slope (Auburn area) to Tahoe City. Bicycles are currently forced to use approximately 11 miles of Interstate-80. Resolving this dangerous route should be a major cycling transportation priority.

  3. June 09 2017

Improve the shoulder so bikes can get get up to sunset

  4. June 09 2017

Over time, (because it would be expensive), a class II lane on Washington to Vernon Street.

  5. June 09 2017

Would like to see street widened to accommodate a real bike from Diamond Oaks to Pleasant Grove. There are children walking on the share-use path to and from school, which is not good to have people on commute bikes with them.

  6. June 09 2017

Bike Route designation and future road widening for all of Placer Hills Rd should create a safe route from Meadow Vista to Colfax

  7. June 09 2017

I would like to see the paved bike path in Folsom continued all the way up into Auburn and then eventually from Auburn all the way to Grass Valley, that would really connect all of our communities together and get more people commuting, and riding their bikes, I know this would be a huge undertaking and probably a pipe dream but it would be awesome if completed

  8. June 09 2017

I would propose the roads be FIXED for all users before we enhance just cycle paths. The roads are an embarrassment, even the ones that have been maintained (Dry Creek, Clipper Gap, etc).

  9. June 09 2017

Extend formal bike lane from Clipper Gap Park and ride to Meadow Vista.

  10. June 09 2017

Placer county should use cycling data from Strava, the most popular cycling tracking application used. The city of Portland used Strava to make the most ridden rodes more safe.

  11. June 09 2017

Often times, trees and bushes overhang the shoulder of Auburn Folsom Rd, requiring cyclists to go out into traffic to avoid hitting the foliage.

  12. June 09 2017

Santa Juanita is traveled by several bikes a day and connects folsom to placer county. This road needs to be widened and include a bike lane.

  13. June 09 2017

Riding a bike on the walkway under the railroad tracks is forbidden now, and understand it is a safety issue for pedestrians. Riding a bike in the road under the tracks is a safety issue for cyclists. No safe way to ride from one side of the tracks to the other. Can walk a bike, but that defeats the purpose of riding and usually there are people on the walking path ranting about bikes do not belong on it even with not riding. (sigh)

  14. June 09 2017

Inconsistent width of bike lane sometimes forces cyclists into gutters that are cluttered with debris. Sometimes the trees are overgrown into the bike lane and tall cyclists have to watch out for branches.

  15. June 09 2017

Find a way to connect this to the facilities on the other side of Woodcreek Oaks. I frequently see people and students run across the street and cross the median as a shortcut, which isn't safe because they are dodging traffic.

  16. June 09 2017

No good way to get from Douglas & Harding onto Sunrise as a pedestrian or cyclist. Not legal or safe to use the new lane going over Highway-80

  17. June 09 2017

This is a terrible area to ride. The road is beat up and the traffic is dangerous to cyclists. I actually ride on what little sidewalk there is in order to stay out of the traffic. Lincoln Street needs to be repaved and widened to include bike lanes.

  18. June 09 2017

Class II or better bike lane down Sunrise

  19. June 09 2017

No turn lane for cars. Cars are forcing themselves around each other on Cirby to Turn right onto northbound Sunrise, creating a problem for each other, Cyclists, and typically not looking for pedestrians in the cross walks.

  20. June 09 2017

I would like to see this route extended so that you could access the lake or at least ride safely down Douglas to the lake.

  21. June 09 2017

Cirby Way between Rocky Ridge and all the way down to Foothills needs a Class II or better bike lane.

  22. June 09 2017

On the south side of Cirby, the bike lane ends and creates a pinch point, especially when it is trash day, and binds are in the street.

  23. June 09 2017

Bikes should only be lowed on roads with at least a 3' shoulder or a specific bike lane.

  24. June 09 2017

Mostly need people ticked for running the red lights all the time, as this is a danger to other motorists,, Cyclists, and pedestrians.

  25. June 09 2017

Corner gets is tight for cylists and motorists. Would like to see a Class II lane with cars taking the corner too close, and parts of Barton widened
