Stagecoach Trail
Pedestrian access to the Rims, Zimmerman Park, Swords Park, etc might be the single most significant improvement to the recreational opportunities in Billings. Missoula, Helena, Sheridan, not even mighty Bozeman could match pedestrian access to our beautiful rims.

Hwy 3 from Airport to Zimmerman Trail
The rims above Billings and trails along Hwy 3 are a real treasure for the people of Billings. I am hopeful that we can do more to protect this outstanding recreational area from uncontrolled parking, litter, and defacing. Protection and beautification of this area would put Billings on the map and would rival recreational areas near any Western city!!!!

Rimrock Road – 38th St W to 13th St W
The city has done a great job creating a highway (Rimrock Road) through a prime residential area of Billings. While this allows for rapid (very rapid I must say) transport of automobiles, it is destroying the quality of life for those of us that live near Rimrock Road. It is not safe for kids to walk or ride near it, and the noise has become unbearable. I fear that unless traffic is controlled or reduced that these midtown neighborhoods will suffer decline. Might there be plans for sound walls, speed control, other?

It is a pity they moved away from the grid system which offers many pathways and spreads out traffic. Every subdivision seeks to replicate this destructive pattern now.
Like Liked 1 timeI whole-heartedly agree with this comment. Why on earth was there no long-term planning to send traffic to commercial arterials like Grand for the residents of Ironwood and Copper Ridge (etc) instead of down a residential street?

Needs to be curb ramps all along Parkhill if they don't exist already. This is an example of an intersection that doesn't have any.

I, personally, do not want street lighting. The city already emits enough light pollution. If lighting is installed, I would hope it would be near zero polluting and/or only activated by motion sensors.

Road is in very poor conditions. It's like a gravel road but is supposed to be asphalt. Would like to see this paved and make the park more welcoming.

I think it would be best used as a multi family property with front doors opening to the shared green and street parking or alley garages. Currently not very residential - why pave. - add value instead.

Must do an intersection study here. It's confusing, especially people new to town.

I would cut off access to the south portion of 32nd and connect the northern section of 32nd to Division.

King Ave W/S Frontage Road
Least favorite street in Billings. A monster was created by allowing all the commercial development jn one location. Dangerous and stressful to drive on. Would like to see it rezoned for mixed use for future redevelopment. I avoid shopping in this area as much as possible.

There are so many cheap and cheerful pedestrian trails up the Rims made from editing, natural sandstone. Picturesque and budget friendly, they could use a little restoration- but they have a story to tell. https://kmhk.com/staircase-carved-billings-rims/

Stagecoach would be several times more expensive than 27th and benefit far fewer people. It is the trail option with the highest rock slide risk by far.

The Stagecoach Trail is obviously more expensive than one up 27th, but that doesn't make any less relevant or important. Probably much more important vs 27th. This trail should have been forcibly built when Zimmerman was reconstructed.

An access point on and off the rims that is as critical to pedestrian and cyclist as it is to the automobile.

Let's have the foresight to connect the Valley to the Rims BOTH along Zimmerman Trail and along North 27th Street. It is time for Billings to celebrate and share our Beautiful Rimrocks and our majestic Yellowstone River.
