SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: This is a tricky area for bikes traveling west since the bike lane runs between Vineyard going toward shopping and the freeway onramp.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: Reduce the number of cars or improve the infrastructure... Limit the amount of transfers from out of town. School buses to reduce the amount of cars. Increase the size or number of drop off/ pickup at each school.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: agree 100%. Bus schedules would ease traffic tremendously!
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: Please mention it to the school district also.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: There needs to be another way in and out of THS for drop off and pick up. Traffic backs up to the offramp at times.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: Lengthen right turn lane on Vineyard east for vehicles turning onto Main toward THS
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: Traffic signal helps, very few issues. People drive too fast.

SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: This area has very limited pedestrian access. Sidewalks along Main Street connecting to vineyard would allow students a safe way to walk to school.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: Where the road curves left over the bridge. This should be a safe route to school; people speed down there and can’t make the turn and I’ve see someone in that tree on more than one occasion both times we before school. It’s further problematic as the sidewalk narrows considerably as the banking is falling down. Cars come incredibly close to the sidewalk, should one of the kiddos trip at the wrong time they’d be toast.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: Traffic seems to come to an abrupt slow down when the highway comes around to Las Tablas exit. I believe the exit appears to come abruptly to most drivers and in an effort to make the offramp, drivers slow down immediately and make sudden lane changes. I've noticed many accidents at this point, due to this possibly being a "blind" corner.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: The crosswalk Las Tablas on the corner of Florence.here is very dangerous, there is no sidewalk, the actual crosswalk paint has faded and no one pays attention there. There should be a light that the kids can press to let the traffic know they’re there.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: Very excited that a roundabout is being considered for this location! It will make things safer for all modes of travel, and is the least expensive option proposed. Plus, it won't be the first roundabout in North County anymore! :)
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: Make a trail (walking, bike, scooter), similar to Bob jones, that connects south end of paso, to tin city in Templeton.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: Neither this intersection nor the Theatre Dr intersection at Green Valley Rd have good bicycle detection for NB cyclists trying to turn left onto Green Valley Road. I've done it many times, and the loops just don't cut it.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: I have witnessed several auto accidents, as well as had many close calls within the section of SR-46, between Theatre Dr and Ramada Dr. The intersection design itself is not conducive to Pedestrian and Bike traffic, as I have witnessed a cyclist get hit while attempting to pass through. The current design also inhibits traffic flows SR-46 EB as vehicles will often queue blocking the intersection of Theatre Dr and Vine St. This also backs up the 101SB exit for 46, as it takes several minutes for the light cycle to clear, due to the high amount of conflict points within this section.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: Considering the unreliability of the off-ramp at Spring Street going northbound 101 from 46 East to this exit, a project to add an auxiliary lane should be evaluated. I am also concerned about the number of rear-end accidents occurring on northbound 101 at this location.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: North Bound off ramp 101 at 46 is often blocked with traffic backed up onto the freeway. This causes a slow down on the freeway which could lead to an accident.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: Although there is a painted bike lane for this portion of Niblick you truly take your life in your hands cycling here. The bike lane is too narrow and is often full of trash cans being picked up and the two lanes of traffic are also too narrow and speeds too high. There is no good east west connection for bikes in Paso. Creston Road is even worse, although there are improvements going on there.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: This on ramp should be removed to reduce conflict points. The next closest on ramp is on Niblick, which is already built out so much that it can handle extra traffic. Generally, I think the whole on/off-ramp should be closed, but unsure if removing off ramp is feasible.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: Pedestrians and bicyclists from the high density residential area south of 4th street and west of Vine are vulnerable due to lack of sidewalks, poor road conditions, and lack of protected crossing to east side of Vine where sidewalks do exist. Vehicles on Vine travel at high speed with limited sight distance at 2nd and 3rd due to hill crest between these streets which poses risks to pedestrian crossings. Sidewalks on west side of Vine north of 3rd Street and crosswalk would promote safety for this residential area.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: I enjoy bike commuting to work, but on my way home, the intersection at Niblick and Spring is very busy.
There is no designated bikeway when turning from Spring St onto Niblick, heading East. I must be in the turn lane with cars--yikes. Would like a designated bikeway for this--it would also encourage more bike riders.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: Vine Street has a poorly maintained bike lane. The paving looks like it hasn't been street swept in a very long time so there is gravel, and deteriorated paving. There are also grooves wide enough and parallel to driving direction for bike tires to get caught in and a rider to crash.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: Please prohibit left-hand turns onto 46 west after concerts at the venue. There have been far too many terrible accidents caused by people existing the venue here and oncoming cars are either going too fast or cannot slow down in time.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: If Vina Robles must be allowed to continue left-hand turns from Mill onto 46 west, please at a minimum make them pay for a flashing beacon here that shall be activated during night-time concerts warning oncoming traffic to slow down and be warned on cross traffic.
SLOCOG Safety Action Plan Feedback: All of your models and plans are missing the NEW roundabout that is built connecting Wisteria Lane to the New Airport Road! You show your planned roundabout which will be built adjacent to the NEW one just completed. Cars will leave one roundabout and pull into the next one? This should be considered in your traffic flow as large freight truck & trailers could backlog traffic with back to back roundabouts. The photo does not show the fully built roundabout.
