32nd street west, past king ave is very narrow with no shoulder, and no bike lanes. Going down/up the hill past 32nd is extremely dangerous. Adding a shoulder, street lights and bike lanes would make this rapidly growing area much safer.

Help create a safe walking trail from Briarwood and hopefully all the way to Blue Creek subdivision to Blue Creek School!!!

  3. October 14 2013

Help make a walking path from town to Briarwood, and from there to Blue Creek school!

  4. October 14 2013

Help make a full sized bike lane out to Briarwood!

The trails connecting these streets at 28th and King, Monad, etc do not all have stop lights. Many times, either walking or commuting, many cars continue to pass pedestrians by. Recently, a vehicle that did stop for me on Monad was almost hit by the vehicle behind them because they stopped and the next vehicle did not realize there was a pedistrian waiting.

The public transit system sucks!! After leaving Billings for twelve years, I was shocked to see the same routes and the same busses. Billings has substantial growth in the last twelve years, to see that the busses had barely changed was ridiculous. Working in the transtech area forced me to walk to work until recently. There are no shelters for the busses over the benches... in order to support things and to shop on weekends, the busses should run later than 6 pm nightly and on Sundays. This has not changed and needs to change with the poor economy and impact on the environment plus the high increase in the cost of fuel.

while waiting for the city bus one day, I was sitting on a bench designated for a bus and was shocked as the bus went by, then stopped about a block away to let a passenger off. The driver saw me and told me I was lucky she stopped because most drivers would have passed me by.

Are you kidding me? I was sitting on the bench for the bus!! She explained that many people sit there to take a break and not to catch the bus.

REally? Is this the bus system in Billings.. no wonder it sucks!!

bike lanes just installed this last summer allow for cyclists to travel through on Monad but car traffic is allowed to pass over the bike lane in order to make a left turn. Dangerous!!

  9. October 13 2013

The bike lanes along 32nd street west, specifically at Central and 32 are extremely dangerous as cars are supposed to cross right over the bike lane to get to the left in order to turn while bikes are supposed to cross to the left in traffic in order to go forward.

  10. October 12 2013

We should have a roundabout here to slow down traffic and to make highway 3 safer.

  11. October 12 2013

We very much need a parking garage at the airport. It should be totally automated. There is no reason to have an attendant. I would pay more to park closer to the terminal.

  12. October 11 2013

Grand could really use a multipurpose trail to connect to Shiloh's trail

  13. October 11 2013

There needs to be a bike lane on this road. It's wide enough and cars are constantly passing on the right very dangerously while parents are dropping their kids off at school. I have several accidents right in front of the school because of this.

  14. October 11 2013

As it stands, the west end developments west of Shiloh on Grand remain isolated from getting safely to any of the closest trails (up 54th to Rimrock or down Grand Avenue to Shiloh are the only options). All of the neighborhoods are on islands and are in need of being connected by a multi-use bike trail. And with the corner of 56th and Grand being an option for a new school it seems like the issue will only be compounded in the near future.

I think the re-building going on is great! I encounter a lot of bike riders (myself included) between 32nd and 38th St. West. That stretch is prime for an update to match. Thanks.

  16. October 11 2013

Please create bike lanes on Poly west of Rehberg. The unpaved shoulders make it scary to ride, including kids riding to Arrowhead school. It would help to connect the road to the bike path below the Poly Vista baseball complex.

  17. October 11 2013

We would love to see the trail that ends at Mary Street extended farther along the river. This is a great trail. It would also be great to have a parking lot somewhere.

  18. October 11 2013

We need a multi-use bike trail to reach these western subdivisions.

  19. October 11 2013

I agree that there should be a way to cross Grand and to have a bike trail along Grand Avenue from Shiloh to 24th St. W.

  20. October 11 2013

Improve this old railroad rightaway to include walking and biking trails through a beautiful natural wetlands area which was formerly the old Empire Sand and Gravel pit.

  21. October 11 2013

The intersection is at the top of the hill and creates a dangerous trifecta of problems for pedestrians and bikers who are trying to navigate the narrow road, a hill, limited visibility, and cars coming from 3 directions.

  22. October 11 2013

Pave this stretch of 5 mile road

  23. October 11 2013

Off-ramp traffic from I90 to Lockwood in peak hours can really pile up on the off-ramp. This creates a dangerous situation for other cars trying to exit off I90

  24. October 11 2013

The MSUB Poly Building at the corner of Poly & 27th contributes to severe vision obstruction for drivers on Poly Drive trying to turn onto 27th.

  25. October 11 2013

Pave Mountain View Blvd to help reduce mudslides onto 27th.
