Bollards at each end of the bridge are difficult to see (Gray metal on gray bridge/asphalt) and too low(crotch height). If the Muni insists that they remain to slow/control traffic, then they need to be raised, painted a contrasting color, and possibly padded.

Fish Creek trail is a great location through Spenard, but in very poor condition. This needs resurfacing, or could also be packed gravel.

There needs to be a safe east-west route from Muldoon to and through mid-town. A bike lane along Tudor or Northern Lights, with reduced speed of vehicles, would be best. The sidewalks along Tudor these roads are unsafe due to the number of side streets and driveways. Further, they are not maintained (e.g., the gravel, glass, and debris swept) and have significant drainage problems. The multi-use trails are not viable for commuting.

Cars dive too fast around curve, then they can't see bikers. Checkmate needs bike lane

Needs trail

Great trail
-
Needs trail to be paved
-
Trail gets too muddy. Needs gravel fill
-
Needs bike lane
-
Needs sidewalk with green space next to road
-
Bad intersection for bikes
-
Have almost been hit at this intersection twice now- the only place on my entire ride this has been a problem. People come off of A Street in a big hurry and don't look for bikers riding in the bike lane or otherwise.

Bike lane Nbound maybe good to keep from counterflowing on the West Sbound side. Issue here is hilly terrain.
-
Probably a good move, flat, good sight lines.
-
Good idea, especially Wbound. Speeds too high for a MUP are easily achieved.
-
This could be good, the limitations are the South end of the proposal, Spenard Rd is a bit sketchy in both directions, South being better once Int'l Airport rd is arrived at..
-
This could be a good idea; it connects the Ship Creek Trail to the Glen Hiway Trail. I take a group of Scouts through this area annually on a 42 mile ride, always something of a challenge!
-
This part could be problematic as it is a pretty serious up hill to Fireweed Ln.
-
If I understand "Shoulder Striping" it could work in summer, winter probably not. This section is flat/downhill.
-
Not sure just what a "Bike Boulevard" is although it sounds enticing! This looks to be possibly a good E - W coridor with limited N - S departure chances.
-
I am a bit leery of a bike lane/shared road on this facility but very tentavely feel it is worth a try given the utter lack of proper N - S bike/MUP facilities in Anchorage. Not a lot of choices.
-
I would echo a previous commenter on this one, it can resemble the old PC game Frogger when trying to cross N - S, especially 4 - 6 pm. Better off going mid block often...
