32nd has a lot of traffic. It is far to busy to not have sidewalks and bike lanes. Families or those with pets are forced to walk in the street with the speeding cars.

ACHD recently installed a really tall asphalt curb and a planter strip instead of a sidewalk on a property at the corner of 21st and sunset - they continues this curb all the way to 20th. - the intersection of 20th/Hill/Sunset is very dangerous because Hill Road traffic enters Sunset Ave at 30 MPH, you aren't sure if they are turning onto 20th, there isn't a good street light during dark hours, and as a pedestrian there is not a very good option to get out of the way.

PLEASE! PLEASE install signs for the crosswalk across 8th St. on the south side of Union St. Many vehicles heading north on 8th treat the green light at Fort St. as a signal as a drag race start light and speed through the crosswalk without regard for pedestrians (and there is a ton of foot traffic to and from the Coop). Even better would be a stop sign as it is also very difficult for drivers and riders to cross 8th St. due to the limited sight lines.

Is Boise ready for a "bike boulevard"? (A low-speed street which has been "optimized" for bike traffic.) If so, I believe Ellis would be a great pilot project. It's already signed as a "bike route" - with some creative striping and signage, it could easily and inexpensively be changed to a boulevard. (I envision signs explaining that bikes have priority and maybe a solid center stripe. Cars could still park on both sides and traverse the road in both direction, but speeds would be 15mph or so. "Thru" motor traffic would be more inclined to use State Street.)

A bike line should be added to N. Cartwright Road. More traffic between Hidden Springs and downtown Boise along with more bikers accessing Pole Cat Gulch, and "Dump Loop" it would be a good idea to plan for expanding the road to include a bike lane.

Sunset needs a sidewalk on the north side of the street, with a parallel bicycle lane. Stop signs at 22nd and 24th. More 20 MPH Speed Limit Signs. Traffic calming.

20 MPH. A sidewalk on the north side of Sunset to allow better winter sun exposure, minimizing ice buildup, and stop signs at 22nd and 24th. People drive too fast in the neighborhood to allow pedestrians to safely use Sunset. There have been accidents between 26th and 20th because ACHD ignores this road.

sidewalk needed.

The north side of 13th/Hill continues to see a lot of pedestrian use and is a safety concern. Traffic calming and a sidewalk on the north side would help.

Harrison needs another signalized pedestrian crossing and Irene Street seems like a logical place as there is a lot of bike/ped (and car) cross traffic. There are also destination parks on either side of Harrison that increase use.

I'd love to see a bike lane on Hillway Drive.

It would be nice to see a wider, less steep trail from the Healthwise parking lot up to Hillway Drives.

So many cyclists on this hill. Bike lane from Harrison and as high as possible up to Bogus would be a dream.

State street needs to be completely redone- but a bike lane is a must for the entire length of this thoroughfare.

Crestline is used by cyclist and walker/runners. Too many blind spots. Bike lane would be a super addition as folks head to the trails

Dead end signage improvement along with 20 mph sign would decrease speeding at major traffic trailhead , unnecessary trips up and back on dead end street.

Sidewalks here alternate from one side of the street to the other, forcing either repeated crossings or walking in the street. The center median also constricts traffic making it difficult to safely pass bicyclists.

Many vehicles miss the Dead End sign and speed to the end of the street and turn around, and speed back. Because there are no sidewalks, runners, pedestrians are walking on both sides of the road dodging lost drivers and cars pulling out from the parking area. Add the cyclists and it is chaos. This small extention of 9th Street is in dire need of speed bumps and the extension on the sidewalk.

Improve access to the green belt for pedestrians and bikes. Alternative to easement on north side of Farms Union Ditch company property. Use existing diversion gate to create bridge over the Farmers Union canal and connect to green belt.

I commute from the North End to HP. There is a real impediment for accessing the green belt anywhere between 29th street and Veterans Park way. If we could get the Farms Union Ditch co. to grant an easement along the north side of their property for a path into Veterans park. It would make foot or bike traffic much smoother.

Not sure what to do here but Bikes and peds need some help here. There is not crossing on the west side Hill Rd leg for pedestrians. The large size and odd angles make this uncomfortable for both cyclist and peds.

The sidewalk here was removed by a previous owner, and it's just grass now.
Would be pretty easy to add a new one!Liked 3 times -
A couple of stop signs on 15th would slow traffic and make crossing it easier. Maybe just a pedestrian-request stop light/crosswalk would be sufficient.
