Dry creek road has no shoulder and a lot of cars. It is used by a lot of cyclists. It is unsafe and dangerous, especially east of Hwy.49.

  2. June 09 2017

Douglas Blvd is unsafe for pedestrians and cyclists. Serious improvements need to be made in this area.

  3. June 09 2017

Add one mile bike lane SB Jointer from 12 Bridges to Rocklin city line. My pet peeve is when signal lights won't trigger without a car nearby so I have to run the light (everywhere in county?).

  4. June 09 2017

Mt Vernon Rd should provide a Bike Route to Hidden Falls Regional Park from Auburn and from Lincoln. I do not want cyclists to use the roadway, I want a separate shared -use path with cycling speed limits.

  5. June 09 2017

Lots of debris (glass!) left in the shoulder all along Hwy 49.

  6. June 09 2017

Crossing over I-80 on Sierra College Blvd is frightening for a cyclist. Although there is a bike lane, cyclists are expected to cross in front of traffic entering the freeway onramp at speed.

  7. June 09 2017

Cars drift to the right as they come around the corner up to Cirby. Need a wider lane or a class II pathway to get past Linda Creek

  8. June 09 2017

Agreed, I don't ride to Rocklin anymore because of this intersection.

  9. June 09 2017

North of Athens Ave, Fiddyment deteriorates badly, and south of Athens there is a dire need for a bike lane, given the casino and commute traffic.

  10. June 09 2017

I would like to see off road mnt bike trails built along the miners ravine trail system.

  11. June 09 2017

Traffic light at Bowman Rd does not stay green for an amount of time sufficient for cyclists to cross Bell Road

  12. June 09 2017

I haven't been up here recently, but in the past with the poor road surface conditions and the occasional bike paths which cross back and forth over 89 it was an issue. I rarely go to Tahoe anymore because the road biking now scares me.

  13. June 09 2017

Needs better lane both north and especially south.

  14. June 09 2017

Bike lane needed for sure. I used to be able to safely ride here years ago... no longer with traffic rate and speeds.

  15. June 09 2017

Even when there is a bike lane or a wide shoulder, it is not swept. Debris such as glass, rocks, and plant material collect there making riding unsafe. Bikes then migrate to the traffic lane in order to avoid those hazards. This is quite common on our roadways.

  16. June 09 2017

Risky section with all the lumber trucks running on the road, limited shoulder, a bit frightening.

  17. June 09 2017

(Preferred Alternative) Should a dam be constructed on the Bear River, thereby flooding Dog Bar, project beneficiaries should be required to finance a bicycle/pedestrian multi use bridge crossing from the reservoir take line on Dog Bar Road in Placer County to the reservoir take line on Dog Bar Road in Nevada County

  18. June 09 2017

Linda Creek to Rocky Ridge extension?

  19. June 09 2017

In the event a dam is constructed on the Bear River-- thereby blocking access to Grass Valley via Dog Bar Rd-- dam project beneficiaries (NID) should finance and include a separated Bike Lane (concrete curbed) for a future roadway crossing, plus a Bike Route along the entire length of roadway necessary to access Dog bar Road on the westward side of the Bear River.

  20. June 09 2017

Linda Creek to Rocky Ridge extension?

  21. June 09 2017

Linda Creek to Cirby Creek extension? Then to Dry Creek?

  22. June 09 2017

Dry Creek to Cirby Creek extension? Then up to Linda Creek?

  23. June 09 2017

Need clearer lines on both sides, and possibly less bike lane on the North side to give cars more room. Need clear bike lane all the way up to the intersection, and a bike lane to turn right onto Washington.

I'd like all of the multi-use paths to have signs with the rules so there is consistency and less confusion. The rules of "pedestrians on the left" and "bicyclists on the right UNLESS PASSING" should be the 1st 2 rules on the signs as these are the ones that are most important for users of the path to read. It would also be good to include "Clean up your dog poop" and to provide doggie bags. (This stuff is awful to get out of bike tires, as well as running shoes!) Thanks!

Mt Vernon Rd should provide a Bike Route to Hidden Falls Regional Park from Auburn and from Lincoln, both for safe cycling and to alleviate motor vehicle parking at Hidden Falls and motor vehicle overuse of Mt Vernon Rd to access Hidden Falls. Roadway width should be increased to accommodate cycling; traffic calming measures including multiple warning signs for motor vehicles to take care of cyclists using the roadway.
