Sidewalk Meets Standard
The traffic light at intersection of SE Yamhill and SE 82nd Ave is timed only. A preferred option would be induction loop detectors and pedestrian crossing buttons. This would both increase traffic throughput on SE 82nd by eliminating unnecessary red lights when there is no cross traffic on SE Yamhill, and if the light changes quickly after a pedestrian crossing button is activated, decreases the waiting time for a pedestrian at this loud and inhospitable corner. If a pedestrian crossing button is implemented, it must change the light quickly.

Sidewalk Facility Gap
Dangerous stretch of road for both bikes and peds. With improvement, users could better access trails and natural areas which currently are very difficult and confusing to reach.

Substandard Sidewalk Facility
As a major arterial serving N. Portland neighborhoods and a significant population of children as well as low-income households, US 30, West of I-5 to the St. Johns Bridge, needs comprehensive improvements for safety, walkability and access to services and transit. Thank you!

This intersection is an accident waiting to happen. It is time ODOT invested in Hwy 43.

Sidewalk Facility Gap
Gaps and substandard facilities along 43 make it difficult for pedestrians to get to local destinations. I have seen wheelchair bound residents having to use the street to get local groceries in over 40 mph traffic due to these poor conditions.
This shouldn't be considered acceptable and ODOT should invest in local highways owned by ODOT.

Existing Enhanced Crossings
Crossing needs to be "more enhanced". Perhaps hawk lights? People crossing Powell to access park often have kids with them, and this crossing is scary.

Substandard Sidewalk Facility
This section where Lombard meets the I-5 exits prioritizes car and freight mobility, even though there a lots of pedestrians and cyclist crossing Lombard at this part to access Fred Meyers and Lombard Max stop. Walking or biking (on the sidewalk) along Lombard from Interstate to Albina does not seem very safe.

There are bus stops on both sides of Lombard at this stop. I constantly see people and students crossing this area to access bus stops, very dangerous.

Wanapa east from NW Forest Ln is an access controled on ramp for the freeway. Pedestrians would have no destination points to access. No reason to have sidewalks in this location.

There needs to be connectivity from here across the Willamette to Lake Oswego.
