Add lighting to this segment of the trail.
DO NOT connect streets unless the Parcher Ave neighborhood want to annex to Herndon. Herndon doesn't need to become a cut through town to this part of the Fairfax County like it is for residents of Loudoun County.
Add double left turn from Eastbound Sterling. Evening traffic backs up into Loudoun County.
Double left turn needed on Eastbound Pkwy. During school year morning traffic backs up to Grant causing unnecessary amount of detour traffic using Grant and 2nd Streets.
Complete missing sement on East side of Grant.
Build a sidewalk on northbound Van Buren to 2nd Street.
Connect Florida Ave to Herndon Pkwy so traffic can avoid the highly dense residential Palmer Dr.
Build a trail overpass of Van Buren similar to what was constructed at Weihle Ave. Too many pedestrians and cyclists cross without using the signal and expect vehicles to give the the right of way. The sandwich board is not doing the job. Invest in safety not a DIY project.
This intersection needs to be realigned as close to a true intersection as possible so it can then become a 4-way stop. Include sidewalks on both sides of each street.
Needs traffic circle or speed humps and a sidewalk on the East side of Monroe/Park. Too many cars have crashed through the fence on the west side of Monroe/Park. At some point a vehicle is going to end up in that home.
Need to get the markings back on the road
We need a crosswalk on Nas St across Spring. There is a lot of pedestrian traffic.
Disappearing sidewalk. This is a huge safety issue for Herndon Middle School students and anyone trying to walk on the north side of Locust Street. There is no crosswalk where the sidewalk ends.
The sidewalk ere is not safe. Kids cant walk to school
The speeds here are unacceptable
Need stop sign. Hard to get out of shopping center
This intersection really needs a traffic light. The volume of traffic needing to turn either left or right must wait an inordinate amount of time.
Need a crosswalk here and need to slow things down
The bushes/shrubs obscure traffic on the left as you leave the golf course.
To proceed after the stop and continue on Park Avenue there is poor visibility for traffic from Monroe Street due to overgrown bushes/shrubs.
Lots of people running lights here
Cars park here and block visibility. Lots of cars running the red and yellow lights
No sidewalks on this part of Monroe past sacred skate or on other side of street
Need continuous sidewalk along Crestview Drive
Fence is dangerous - can’t see around it
