The slope of the road is not align with the turn
Correct the grade of the road, slant to align with the turn
People dont really know if this is or is not an all way stop
This is an unsafe mess
Change from stop to signal makes people travel faster and makes this more of a through way instead of a neighborhood
This needs more speed enforcement by HPD

Concern with behavior along the trail. Noticing more people drinking and intimidating behavior towards pedestrians.
High school students speed. Feels unsafe for residents
Curves feel very dangerous. Light at help
Parking on both sides can lead to difficult maneuvers

Students turning from wrong lane as the light is too slow
A lot of speeding at 5pm
This trail crossing is extremely dangerous with bike riders and pedestrians crossing without stopping for oncoming traffic. It’s a miracle someone has not been seriously injured here. I witness close calls daily.
Top 5 most dangerous intersection in all of Herndon, especially at rush hour in the morning and night. Motorists and cyclists do not obey the stop signs.
People frequently run this stop sign or do not come to a complete stop.
A crosswalk and a stop sign is desperately needed here for people crossing from one side of Nash St to the other and to slow down traffic on Spring St.
Build sidewalk on the south side of Monroe between 1st St and 1st Pl, creating a continuous walkway from downtown to the many neighborhoods and paths both inside and outside Herndon Parkway. It will require acquisition of right-of-way and relocation of a utility pole, but well worth the effort.
There is constant, dangerous speeding on Van Buren Street, especially between Spring Street and Alabama Drive. This poses a risk when attempting to cross at the crosswalk located at Aspen Drive.
Cars often do not observe the stop sign.
Frequent drivers going 50 mph on this road, especially westbound between Drainsville and Crestview
The new crosswalk markings here are fantastic! I feel safer crossing the street as a pedestrian now that it's marked so well. More like this, please!
The same set of cars has been parked along this street (long-term vehicle storage) for so many months that weeds and grass are growing through the asphalt, damaging the street itself. Probably legal, but nobody mows the street, so it's not clear how tall the weeds can get before someone takes action.
Near the entrance to Runnymede Park, the southbound speed limit is 35 mph, and northbound speed limit is 25 mph. The switch between 35 mph to 25 mph seems abrupt, and the locations of the switches seem arbitrary. Consider adding a stretch of 30 mph on Southbound Herndon Pkwy at Worchester St. so the speed slows gradually *before* getting to Runnymede, instead of cars traveling at >35 mph past Runnymede and then stomping on the brakes well past Runnymede at the 25 mph sign just before Reneau Way. The bug difference in speeds between the south and north lanes makes me wonder if a sign is missing.
