This is a invalid car/truck access point into old Corl rd. A private system-but is a danger to add errant vehicles onto corl rd on psu golf course-which is only used by bike, peds and golf carts. A road rage event will endanger non-vehicle users. It is an unfortunate access now on google map giving any out of Towner entitlement from their google gps to show up in an unwanted location. Put barricades up on this as old corl rd as is gated at both ends and access via this route is a risk to security of psu golf course infrastructure and leads to vehicles going on golf course greens and doing donuts!!!

Complete the Eastern Inner Loop, extending University Drive to the Northwest. The original plan was to connect the Eastern Inner Loop to the completed Western Inner Loop (Blue Course Drive). This would help alleviate the vehicular traffic at the intersection of Park and Atherton plus the heavy traffic on Park and North Atherton Street.

A map of the pedestrian/bike paths, west of Atherton St, would be both welcoming and helpful to the many guests State College receives, along with maps at intersections along the path. The maps can also post rules, like the size of e-bikes allowed on the paths and speed.

This comment above is wayfinding and makes perfect sense. Instead of the psu campus you are here maps similarly at walking places… These could be done in artful competition, via a variety of graphic arts classes to geography layouts to reach out and give the important messages

This is a very dangerous intersection. It is where the confluence of pedestrians, scooters, bikers, e-vehicles, cars, and buses intersect. The Park Avenue pedestrian/bike path is a major transportation corridor crossing Atherton Street at this intersection. Pedestrian traffic crossing from the University is often jogging or running crossing at this intersection. Several years ago, an innocent Freshman ran into the intersection, not knowing how busy it is, was killed. Pedestrians are not given enough time to cross when left hand turns are being made from Park to Atherton Street.

The bike/pedestrian path descending a hill becomes very dangerous during Penn State rush hours. This is and will become a major transit facility to and from the University. The path needs to be wider, with either 2 separate paths or a yellow line in the middle for the different traffic directions. Motorized and e-vehicles need to be prohibited from use, there is a road beside the path. When the Blue Coarse Drive area is built-out this will become even more of a heavily used facility.

Please do not ban ebikes on shared-use paths. Ebikes allow more people to get out of their car and to go farther distances. Those people deserve safe bike infrastructure. Instead of banning the use of motors or banning ebikes entirely, create a speed limit if necessary.

Beginning here, there is no further protected bicycle path heading in the direction of Gray's Woods. Walking/biking on Scotia Rd is really no fun.

YES. This is what I was talking about in my comments about the boring Valley Vista path. The simple little curve and under a few trees makes all the difference in the world!!! Human beings don't like to walk in straight lines. Do better at weaving these paths into the natural landscape...or create interesting new landscapes. (No: not just a few trees along the same straight line.) These long, straight bike paths are also increasingly a problem with overpowered e-bikes treating them practically like a highway, driving the same speed as the parallel highway.

Better bus access really needed to the new Palmer Museum (and Arboretum). The closest bus stop is now about a 15-min walk away!!!

We should try to help CATA and PSU transportation make their systems less redundant - PSU shuttle could serve Arboretum, law building, hospital, and innovation park connecting to Curtin Rd whereas CATA could serve the rest of campus with its much larger buses

Pedestrian-crossing lamp desperately needed here. Americans just don't respect a crosswalk. I've waited as long as five minutes here in the crosswalk, hoping someone would let me cross. Everyone seems to be in such a hurry to make the light at the Circleville intersection.

Transit/Pedestrian Priority
It would be beneficial for many people in the borough if “cherry bomb” and other very loud mufflers were outlawed. Their sole purpose is to disturb the peace, and they do that around 11:00 pm most nights.
