This bus stop gets super crowded.

Better lighting and a second crosswalk is needed here.

The sidewalk on OSU's side should be wider and better lit here.

You should put a sign back at Harrison and 29th directing traffic to take Harrison to go downtown instead of driving through the congested part of Monroe by OSU.

This would be another block that would be nice for wider sidewalks and outdoor seating instead of on-street parking.

This intersection needs to be modified to prioritize Monroe over 26th and to help the many types of traffic trying to pass through this odd diagonal shape. As it is, it can be a free for all, but I'm sure there is a safer engineering solution.

I would rather see wide sidewalks with outside dining than street parking on this block!

Turning onto Monroe off of 25th, either right or left, can feel dangerous. More often than not, cars are parked on the street just east of this intersection (in front of the subway/high priestess parking lot) and it becomes impossible to see oncoming traffic. This then forces you to drive further into the crosswalk to see the road, which interferes with pedestrians. When dark out, headlights are helpful indicators of approaching vehicles but it can still be hard to gauge how far away the car might be. Perhaps reducing street parking in this area could be helpful and adding a lit crosswalk.

I always feel unsafe as a driver turning left from 26th onto Monroe. Increasing visibility would help, or having it be an all-way stop.

The pedestrian signals at this intersection switch to DONT WALK well before the corresponding traffic light turns red. As a result most pedestrians ignore the pedestrian signal and cross on DONT WALK as long as the traffic signal is green. You may as well remove the pedestrian signal.

I appreciate the number and variety of restaurants (both quick and sit-down) that are available within a quick walking distance from the core of campus.

This intersection is really tricky to navigate as a driver during peak pedestrian times. Many pedestrians and bikers do a poor job of signaling their intention of when they are crossing and in which direction. Cars coming out of 26th turning left onto Arnold can also get impatient and drive unsafely. Timed pedestrian crossings (with lights) might be helpful here and in a few other places along this corridor to more clearly define when and where it's safe for pedestrians to cross, and to reduce the anxiety for drivers who are worried about hitting someone!

So many pedestrians crossing in between crosswalks. Maybe a crossing light at Monroe23rd for pedestrians to use would encourage them to use crosswalks. Not a huge fan of traffic control devices but the number of pedestrians randomly crossing needs some sort of control. Other than making Monroe a "motorized vehicle free" area.

Too many pedestrians stepping out between cars between Kings and 23rd. Not sure how to encourage pedestrians to use crosswalks. I hate to suggest traffic signals - but maybe a traffic signal is needed at Kings/Monroe. Pedestrians step out in almost a continuous stream so traffic backs up for blocks in all directions. Also, perhaps a traffic signal would encourage pedestrians to use the crosswalks?

This intersection is a safety nightmare. It's a challenge to know which vehicle's turn it is to go especially when students have disregard for cars and walk across Monroe without pausing or looking. This intersection is akin to playing frogger.

This offset intersection is extremely unsafe. When biking either north from Memorial Place across Monroe onto 23rd or south from 23rd across Monroe onto Memorial Place, bikers like myself must cross the busy diagonal pedestrian crosswalk across Monroe. Drivers on Monroe or 23rd are routinely fixated on pedestrians crossing Monroe here and frequently don't see bikers due to the awkward offset. Getting rid of the offset between 23rd and Memorial Place would be a major improvement to make this intersection safer.

A left turn only light signal for vehicles trying to left from Monroe onto 14th.

It's very difficult to turn left during high traffic times (with other vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians), and a left-turn only light might alleviate some possible accidents and gridlock. There is typically a steady stream of pedestrians walking across 14th, so maybe in addition to a left-turn only signal, there could be a time when there's only a simultaneous crosswalk-only signal to allow all pedestrians to walk freely through crosswalks while all vehicles remain stopped at a red light.
