Jefferson St needs some help on the road! It could use a facelift
Improve MAdison St (County 15th St) inside Somerton
HAve ADOT Bridge help us with this Bridge to change it out to a culvert and that way with expANSION WE CAN OPEN THE ROAD UP WITH BETTER OPTIONS FOR INTERSECTION SAFETY AND CONGESTION
improved Bike lanes
Better road conditions from County 16th St to North to County 1`1th St
With Somerton High School developing more in this area and i would presume more houses or apartments the expansion of Cesar Chavez (Ave F) would be necessary to accomodate the full buildout of the high school and future housing of that area.
Would be niice if Somerton opened up County 17th street to Ave D and made it more accessible! Maybe when they open or build out on the Ave E to Ave D new road
With 2 or 3 additional deaths at this interrsection this past year and smething needs to be done maybe extra warning lights preempting the signal light out in the rural areas. I know that people on phone / distracted drivers play a bigger role there so it might be a mitigating solution would be more hi-vis signbage (DMS warnings
The Flashing ligths need to be more high bvisibility for this cormner
Yuma County or Cocopah need to keep the trees and weeds from infiltrating the US 95
We need something on County 15th and Ave B to mitigate the bAD THREE-WAY STOP SIGN AND THE WAY EVRYONE USES THAT ROPAD., iT IS A NIGHTMARE
transit location needs better lighting and more upkeep
transit is needed this area is rapidly growing
Walking paths/bike paths are needed
Speed bums to slow down traffic heading north and south on Ave C, visibility is limited and Cocopah RV winter visitors pull out into oncoming traffic all the time in order to "See"
Ave C between 32nd and County 14th needs more frequent upkeep as its a common AG corridor.
SR-195 needs east and west rest stops for additional truck parking and restroom facilities for travelers.
County 25th needs to be extended to Ash Highway to create a secondary exit for commercial traffic from San Luis II. in order for trucks to bypass the private vehicles, pedestrians and bikes on Ave E
Traffic mitigation needs to begin here with new commercial developments and it being an emergency vehicle outlet from the Police Station.
Speed needs to be closely monitored through this corridor.
The amount of congestion and safety concerns at this intersection has continued to escalate as traffic numbers continue to increase. There are only a certain amount of routes exiting San Luis and the homes in the County to access Yuma, this being one of them. Visibility is limited and oncoming traffic onto Ave B extension tends to merge into the turning lanes. Overall an intersection that requires improvements.
Add a public transit stop or route for the people of the counties around 14th to 19th street.
