With Somerton High School developing more in this area and i would presume more houses or apartments the expansion of Cesar Chavez (Ave F) would be necessary to accomodate the full buildout of the high school and future housing of that area.

Would be niice if Somerton opened up County 17th street to Ave D and made it more accessible! Maybe when they open or build out on the Ave E to Ave D new road

With 2 or 3 additional deaths at this interrsection this past year and smething needs to be done maybe extra warning lights preempting the signal light out in the rural areas. I know that people on phone / distracted drivers play a bigger role there so it might be a mitigating solution would be more hi-vis signbage (DMS warnings

Speed bums to slow down traffic heading north and south on Ave C, visibility is limited and Cocopah RV winter visitors pull out into oncoming traffic all the time in order to "See"

County 25th needs to be extended to Ash Highway to create a secondary exit for commercial traffic from San Luis II. in order for trucks to bypass the private vehicles, pedestrians and bikes on Ave E

The amount of congestion and safety concerns at this intersection has continued to escalate as traffic numbers continue to increase. There are only a certain amount of routes exiting San Luis and the homes in the County to access Yuma, this being one of them. Visibility is limited and oncoming traffic onto Ave B extension tends to merge into the turning lanes. Overall an intersection that requires improvements.
