I would like to see the paved bike path that goes from Sacramento along lake Natomas through Folsom to Beals point continue to connect to miners ravine trail into old town Roseville.
-
I would like to have a bike path that follows the shore line of rollins lake from you bet rd. back around to the long ravine campground
-
PFE needs to be better maintained. There's a lot of glass and other debris. If I keep getting two flats a month on this road I'd rather use my car instead.
-
Feels dangerous to turn left from Crowder onto Baseline.
-
Going north at this curve will get someone on a bike killed eventually- folks go fast into the inside corner and can't see cyclists.
-
Don't feel safe commuting south on this road as I have to cross a major intersection at Baseline to go east.

From Lake Arthur Road all the way to Crother Road is smooth with a decent shoulder. Continuing up toward Colfax, Placer Hills Road has some areas that would feel safer if the shoulders were widened a bit. Then north of Weimer Crossroads there are some stretches where the road begins to climb and the shoulder gets narrow again. And there are some issues from Canyon Way to Ben Taylor but I'll save that for another day. This is a popular route for recreational riders and a corridor for students from Colfax High, Weimar Hills and Live Oak Waldorf School to Auburn.

Auburn Folsom between Scottys Corner and Vintage Oaks is a death trap. The shoulder disappears, curvy, lack of sight distance, and high speed vehicles makes this section a danger! There is currently a "ghost bike" on this section where I witnessed the aftermath of a vehicle/cyclist collision earlier this spring. The "fix" is the addition of shoulders, curve improvements, and speed enforcement!

Class 1 trail from 12 bridges to Beals point should be our long term goal with emphasis on using existing such trails and perhaps rail right of way if we have it.
-
I would love to see a class i trail system that connected the Twin Bridges area with the American River bike trail at Beals Point. This would serve a large bike community at Lincoln Hills as well as large populations in Rocklin Roseville and Granite Bay.
-
I have to get off my bike to get on the sidewalk, to push the pedestrian cross walk button for this light to change for my travels on South Whitney. It would be great to have a sensor for bikes in the street for both directions
-
To get from Rocklin to Roseville without riding on Stanford Ranch or East Roseville Parkway, this bridge on the Antelope Creek Trail is essential. Why do I have to risk my life to ride to work now as long as this trail is still closed?
-
At this point on the bike path you have to make a sharp left, then when you get to Cavitt Stallman it is difficult and dangerous to make either the sharp right and not enter the traffic lane or make a left and cross Cavitt Stallman with fast traffice coming from your left around a corner. If the path was paved continuing straight to Cavitt Stallman it would be much safer.

I consider myself to be a very skilled bicyclist who has been riding, commuting and touring for over 30 years. I find crossing over I-80 on sierra College to be one of the scariest and most dangerous things to do. When the bike lane disappears you are expected to cross over the merging traffic to continue on the bike lane. Cars merging are traveling at high speeds and do not expect to see a bike crossing there. The least that should be done is a sign telling cars that bikes will be crossing the merge lane and to be cautious. It is very poorly designed.

This short section of Taylor road does not have a shoulder. The road quickly changes from a shoulder and smooth road to no shoulder and extremely pot holed and dangerous. There is quite a bit of vehicle traffic at this location close to Del Oro High School.
-
Please find a way to create a safe route for bicyclists to cross the tracks. Riding a bike on the road is very unsafe here. Bicyclists are currently not allowed to ride on the pedestrian walkway. There is currently no safe way to bike across. It would be wonderful to create greater connections across both sides of the tracks. Many families ride their bikes to events in the Town Square.
-
Please repair this trail. It is a great, safe connector to Rocklin that allows bicyclists to safely get under Hwy 65. I used to use this trail several times a week. My detours because this trail is closed are much less safe. I saw many bike users daily on this trail. There is no easy, safe detour to Rocklin with this trail now closed.

There are areas of 49 that have no shoulder. There really needs to be a bike lane from 80 to at least Bell Rd. It also would need to be swept.
-
There is no shoulder and bikes have to ride on the road. It's scary.
-
A safe class 1 path to Folsom lake
-
Sierra College Blvd and Douglas are in desperate need for a change. Cars frequently use the bike lane as an extra wide addition to the lanes and drive in them constanty, even when bikes are present.
-
Bike lanes blocked by vegetation in places
-
I would love to ride from my house to all the shopping on fairway but I will never do it because riding down blue oaks looks like a death sentence and crossing 65 most certainly is. A protected path would be amazing. I would use it!
-
Love class I bike and multi use trails throughout the county. The more the better. Particularly in Lincoln with connectivity. Would love to see more of a sustainable non car related approach to transportation planning in placer county. We're at a great place to be innovative and forward thinking.

Newcastle Rd has heavy bike traffic, but inconsistent and generally inadequate paved shoulder width, so cyclists end up in the traffic lanes.
