There needs to be a stop light here!!! For years now we have needed this for safety
-
Revert to 45 mph limit. IF this area fully develops like envisioned and it is similar to Heritage District, then drop to 35. Dropping it was too soon, and overly cautious at 25mph. This area is not like Heritage District with the wider and 4 lanes of traffic.
-
Need either a merge lane or assistance with breaks in traffic to allow residents of chaparral west to safely exit their community turning left on to Williams Field Rd
-
Remove left turn lane going east bound on Williams Field turning into San tan mall. Make this entrance to the mall only available as a right turn from westbound traffic on WF to avoid cars blocking traffic.
-
Lights on Higley need to be timed to hit green lights when traveling 40-45mph
-
I concur, this light changes often when no cars on the very minor side street.
-
Living one year in this area and I have seen around 6 “bad” accidents where cars are rolled over in their sides.
-
Please raise the speed limit back up to at least 35. I understand the need to slow it down a bit but 25 is ridiculous especially when no one even obeys the speed limit. And putting more enforcement just cause people to slam on their brakes which is also scary.
-
Please put a crosswalk for the trail. This is a dangerous area to cross.
-
Some kind of path above or under the train tracks. At the very least a flat path to cross when clear without having to get off your bike
-
Add a safe way to cross Queen Creek Road. Re-route the bike path to pass under the bridge.
-
Make designated ride share pickup/drop off locations to improve congestion.
-
Connect paved path along west side of flood control channel to Sonoqui Wash trail at Power and Ocotillo.
-
Provide safe way for pedestrians/cyclists to cross Chandler Heights Road (Route the paved path below the Chandler Heights bridge)
-
Provide a safe way for pedestrians/cyclists to cross Riggs Road (Over/Underpass). Route the paved path just under the Riggs Road bridge (The flood control channel is dry 99.6% of the time or more.)
-
Add signal for crossing the canal path.
-
We need more public transportation on Higley rd , Val Vista Dr, and Greenfield Rd.
-
Nearly got hit by many cars at this intersection when I had the right of way. Drivers seem to not care about pedestrians around this area.
-
Traveling north or south between East Mesa and Gilbert is quite difficult without a car. The lack of shade from trees just adds to the struggle as well. A valley metro bus route going north and south would be nice.
-
It’d be nice if we could get the valley metro bus to drive north and south on Greenfield Rd. I was gonna be hired for a manufacturing position in Gilbert but I changed my mind when I realized how far I’d have to ride my bike from South East Mesa. Using an Uber works but it’d be cheaper if the valley metro was available in this area.
-
Agree and support idea for pedestrian/ bicycle access under Higley Rd for access to Regional Park.
-
Identify the future intercity rail train station in the Cooley Station area. I'm surprised there was little or no information about this future intercity rail as part of multi modal options
-
Consider bicycle -pedestrian connection across wash aligning with Ocotillo Rd. If street improvements are planned to connect, include pedestrian & bike roo.
-
Possible Traffic Signal. Pecos and South Sailors Way has delay, and accidents with cars ingress and egress from neighborhoods and SanTan Motorplex.
-
Trail light / crosswalk of some sort
