Undeveloped
Supposedly the construction for this project was going to start in September -- that was two months ago as of the time I posted this comment. Is this development still happening? Is there any more information on it?
It seems like a lot of money and development left on the table if this doesn't happen.

This Parcel that was to be Veterans Memorial Park is now a blighted neighborhood eyesore! The town needs to at minimum level the parcel back to the way it was and remove the temporary ugly blue tarp covered chain link fence which has been in place for several years now. Maybe plant some grass and a few trees and make it a mini-park. A plain dirt lot like before would be better than what we have now.

Chain link fence with barb wire that is smashed in with smashed broken porta johns on the east side of the road. The fence and landscape area has been deteriorating over the past 2 years and there has been no attempt to fix it.
This section of road definitely decreases the perceived value of my neighborhood with the broken fencing, driveways in need of repair and port a pottys in full sight of the traffic, along with the rest of the storage businesses here. Better vegetation and less visibility of businesses would help.

Like Liked 0 timesYes this stretch is very trashy. At least the taco truck at the run-down tire shop is gone now. If this could be rezoned and cleaned up that would be great.
