We desperately need more indoor pickleball courts in this area. It is too hot in Arizona for people to play outside 7 months out of the year. They currently only have two and they are not available in the summer. It would be nice to have "open play" so members of the community get can get together 3-4 hours in the morning. Freestone is currently overfilled with people having to wait 30 minutes to play on their two courts (sometimes they will allow a 3rd court if basketball players are not using one of the courts). Otherwise there are no other indoor courts in Gilbert.

The equipment on the back field of Mother Nature's Farm does not appear to be any kind of farm equipment but rather a lot of broken construction materials and equipment. Most of it has not moved in at least 3-4 years. Would be nice if they could clean it up or remove it.

The empty lot across from the Big O tires is being used to store large construction equipment. The wall between the lot and the homes is way too short. There's a like of privacy and security as well. We'd like to see the wall repaired (it's falling apart in some places) and raised to be higher so our families have privacy.

Agreed! The wall is too low and privacy and security are lacking. We have also had issues with the homeless population passing out on the other side of the wall and we've had to call the police and paramedics multiple times leaving us not feeling safe for our family and small children.

This is a home always under a state of disrepair. They vegetation usually completely covers the facade of the house, always has broken down cars surrounding it. We drove by once and saw a piece of roof, flashing?, literally fall off. I feel horrible for their immediate neighbors. This property is prime ground for rats, mice, scorpions and other creatures you don't want on or in your own home. It's been like this for decades but have only ever seen action taken to clean up the front once.

This local public park could benefit from some additional improvements.
Fencing: The fencing on the west side of the park has been in poor condition for years. While it appears that most of the deteriorated sections have been removed, the remaining two random sections that were painted still look unsightly. Additionally, the half-wall to which the fencing is bolted needs painting or could be removed.
Block Walls: There is an inconsistency in the painting of the block walls around the park. While the north wall has been painted, the south wall remains unpainted, creating a disjointed and unfinished look.
Addressing these issues would significantly improve the aesthetic appeal and overall inviting nature of the park. Thank you for considering these suggestions!

United Site Services and surrounding area on the same side (east side) of McQueen Road is a total eyesore. This is not a new problem and it appears that the city is not responding to previous complaints concerning this area. The businesses on the west side have done a nice job of building attractive block walls and adding landscaping. Please do something about the east side - it is embarrassing.

Unsanitary. Disposal at Park Place Village is not well communicated. Community compactor area collects bulk items often due to being a rental community. Clarity about bulk pickup options would be helpful. Additionally providing trash and recycle bins to individual residents would eliminate build up of trash if the compactor is out of service.

Traffic from Neely Elementary creates unsafe situations for residents of the surrounding neighborhood. Cars often illegally park on Burk during pick up times, blocking the bicycle lane and pulling out in front of oncoming traffic. The cars lined up in Houston for Drive Thru pick up make it difficult or impossible to safely see traffic at the intersection of Houston and Corrine. Please consider a full Drive Thru loop on school property similar to GCA.

Speed bumps or something needed for Cypress Rd coming between Lindsay and Gilbert Rds. Everyone speeds through the neighborhood including police on their way into or from work in their personal vehicles. We have two parks kids and families attend and yet it's common practice for speeders to do 45 mph through the neighborhood. We have had an influx of apartments built around this neighborhood and no respect for the mph though Settlers Meadow, Settlers Point and beyond. Speeds bumps or flashing speed signs, something is needed.

This Settlers Meadow Community has not had the streets and roads resurfaced, slush coated or cracks filled for nearly 14 years. There are cracks in all streets. Side streets, Cypress the main road that police and fire use daily as well. We keep getting bypassed and other surround streets are taken care of. Time to take care of this grass growing in the street cracks and resurface asap.
