This intersection backs up. Consider better timing with traffic signals to east and west. Add speed monitoring signage or police presence - traffic is moving too fast, approaching 50 MPH. During afternoon rush hour westbound drivers are staring directly into the sun, consider flashing warning signals on the curves approaching the intersection.

The fire department does NOT properly maintain this property and frequently lets it get overgrown. The town is a poor neighbor at this address.

This area should be converted into a park with a splash pad and other stuff for kids. The area East of it, which is currently fenced off should be developed similar to the Riparian Reserve with walking trails.

Industrial and/or apartments will be utilizing Aviary Way to access N Cooper road. The city has conceded that access via Aviary is critical so the plan to use this as an access road is planned. Zoning & code feels that this has to remain a thru street for Safety. We think it needs to be closed for the Safety of our community.

Regular, steady traffic turning left into Lifetime Fitness is making opposing left turns into the Settler's Point neighborhood very difficult. This is caused by restricted visibility around the car opposite you because the turn lanes are offset. Although I haven't witnessed an accident yet, everyone who turns left here complains about the visibility issue.

Traffic and parking has become amajor issue on Gilbert Road now that it is a hub of activity. I am distressed by the number of pedestrian accidents. Perhaps Gilbert Rd needs to be closed to vehicles, but I don't know how you could create a bypass/detour since Gilbert is a major thoroughfare.

United Site Services needs to install a better fence or a wall to hide their portable port-a-potties from the roadway view. Superlite Block has a nice wall as an example.

June 2024 I agree with this post. This comment was posted in 2022 and I'm not seeing progress. They have rearranged the equipment on the lot, but PLEASE CONSIDER INSTALLING A SIGHT-BLOCKING FENCE, put your company logo on it. Advertise your service.

There should be a no U Turn sign here. People go thru the Tacobell parking lot, zoom across 2 lanes to get in the turn lane that is meant to turn into the Ace Hardware mall but then make a U turn instead of waiting at the main Frys/Tacobell road to cross. The people waiting there correctly barely have a chance to cross in the first place but now have to watch out for these impatient drivers to avoid accidents.

I'm not sure this would be the correct solution. People do this U-turn *because* making a left out of the plaza is difficult and dangerous. True, waiting for these U-turners can potentially increase the wait further for those making a left but the same is true if someone simply goes to the farther exit to make right turns.
Short of putting a traffic light here there really isn't a good solution. The parking lot layout doesn't even lend itself to expansion for dedicated left/right turning lanes that would take some pressure off the exit. But I don't think forbidding a safer alternative to that left turn is the right answer.

Gilbert rd and Hackamore by mesquite jr high has an empty lot with weeds growing over and it needs attention. The chain link fence is crossed over the sidewalk(if there is one I can’t tell over the weeds). If you are walking to the bus stop you either walk on the road or cross to the other side.

Property owners along Encinas St west of Cooper Rd need to improve the front yard landscaping and a sidewalk adjacent to the road. There is a box truck parked in a driveway 24 hrs a day for advertising a business in Casa Grande.

Umm, that's their property. Just because you don't like doesn't mean that they have to change for you.
Like Liked 1 timeIt's against Town Code. If you like a lot of unsightly properties go look at Guadalupe, South Phoenix/Laveen, Mesa and Apache Junction for instance.
Like Liked 1 timeAre there ordinances restricting storing RVs and other commercial vehicles on property like this homeowner is doing? Currently, the weeds are growing excessively around the vehicle being stored.
