Need more street lights, have only 1 per block. Area is too dark at night. Traffic constantly speeding down Park Ave, and not stopping at stop sign on Cottonwood and Park Ave.

Cars speed down this section of street all day and night, no speed bumps on this area at all and only one dim light so street is very dark at night.

Too many parked cars on street limiting view, causing to only allow one vehicle pass through and dangerous.

New water fountains need to be installed, these are over 20 years old and very unsanitary. New tables as these are also over 20 years old and very worn out.

The lift station on the Nw corner of Neely and Guadalupe always has a sewer smell all the time and it gets stronger and horrible sometimes. I have called and complained many times.

With increased population and traffic, W Bayshore has become a shortcut to Cooper to avoid an extra light. Cars exiting S Surfside onto W Bayshore have to creep into the intersection in order to see vehicles headed east toward Cooper. Sightlines are terrible from Surfside looking west! At a minimum, signage showing "blind intersection ahead" or "vehicles entering from left" should warn eastbound traffic to slow down.

U-turns on S Islands Drive W in front of Islands Elementary School are dangerous. Principally committed by parents dropping off and picking up school kids. Passing in the school zone is prohibited for obvious reasons, but U-turns present similar risks.

Drivers get confused and try to drive in the pickup lane as a regular lane, it needs different stripping to indicate that it isn't a regular lane.
It is hard for residents to get out of the community in the morning because of the parents dropping off their kids at Island's Elementary, needs better signs and directions given to parents.
We also have problems with loud vehicles in this area, mostly at night.

Weeds and bare dirt between the sidewalk and the street on the south side of Houston between Oaktree Park and Gilbert Rd. are an eyesore. Could use some gravel and maybe some new plants.

The trees along there have wrecked the sidewalk, curbing, and wall facing the street. For some reason they took down most of the trees but not all. Now it looks even worse.

I think a homeless camp is set up here in the bushes near the back fence of a business near the walking path.

The grass is often yellowed rather than green. If it isn't going to be maintained as a lush green, then it should be converted to rocks or artificial turf.

All along S Madera Park Dr the pine trees and other deciduous trees need to be trimmed. There are several dead branches on the pine trees.

There needs to be another exit out of this neighborhood. Currently all the traffic flows into Madera Park Dr and I've seen multiple instances of folks coming out of S Quail Ln turn into the Madera Park traffic unsafely.

This part/area of Guadalupe by the train tracks is run down looking and dirty. It’s like you can see the lack of attention to keeping it clean and maintained.

Most trucks carrying gravel and rocks do not have covers over their loads. The parking lot and egress road are not paved. Dirt and gravel get spilled onto Guadalupe Rd. It is a dusty mess in dry conditions and it gets really muddy when it rains. Not a good look!
