We really need a walking/bike path on River Road north of the path that ends at Swains Lock. The path should continue north to the Toby Town/Travillah Road area. Kids could ride their bikes to nearby Potomac Elementary if the path was extended. There are a lot of walkers and bikes on River Road in this area and it is very dangerous. There are a lot of walkers and bikers that are dodging traffic daily along this stretch. It is very dangerous. Also, the existing path on the more southern section of River Road is in horrible condition.

Route 1 is the flattest, straightest, and most logical way to travel between downtown DC and Mount Rainier and all points north. Unfortunately it's also a death wish for cyclists. The Trolley Trail and extension in progress provide an alternative in Hyattsville and upwards, but there is no way for cyclists to continue south into DC. Parking on this road is unsafe for drivers and makes no sense; it's also usually empty in Mount Rainier. A *separated* bicycle lane should be constructed all the way down Rhode Island avenue into DC, starting at the NW Branch.

Th bridge for the sidewalk has been out FOR YEARS and the sidewalk across the street was closed as well providing NO sidewalks in the area. PLEASE coordiante with PGC to finally fix this- data from PGC shows ped crashes in the vicinity but apparently not enough to matter. This is a state road in an Equity Emphasis Area

We park on Locust daily to help with my granddaughter.at 5316 Locust I am concerned every time that I am there about the amount and speed of cars whizzing past our car as we even tr y to get into it. This is especially bad from 3 to 6. This is a cut through street from Old Georgetown to most of the Maplewood area. Throughout most of Alta Vista Maplewood there are speed bumps, there desperately needs to be a speed bump right near the forest or near 5316 to get people to slow down on this street., just as there are speed bumps throughout the neighborhood.

Adding a bike lane to this stretch of Centennial Ln would connect an existing bike lane to the walking and biking trails at Centennial Park, giving all the adjoining neighborhoods a bike-friendly route to access the park. In addition, when the Howard County school start time changes go into effect, some middle-school and high-school students 1-2mi from Burleigh Manor Middle and Centennial High School may choose to bike rather than walk to school, and it would be advantageous to give those students safe spaces to make those rides. There is an existing wide shoulder approaching the Centennial Park entrance.

Frederick Rd has an existing shoulder in most of this stretch, and being able to bike safely in this stretch would allow access to the largest library in the HCLS system, Miller Branch, for Font hill residents and connecting neighborhoods. By extending this route into the Historic Ellicott City district, cyclists could access all of the shopping and restaurants there without needing to park a car.

Traffic coming On Locust from Old Georgetown Road go fast entering this sharp turn with limited visibility. There is no sidewalk after the turn, so pedestrians are in the road. It is very dangerous. I have witnessed many near collisions with pedestrians. A speed bump before the sharp turn and extending the sidewalk past the turn would reduce the danger.

Cars go very fast coming around the corner making walking dangerous. A speed bump would be a huge improvement

There is limited visibility. Cars frequently drive fast around this bend cutting through from Old Georgetown/Alta Vista Rd. Unlike Beach, the only other access to this neighborhood from Old Georgetown, there are zero traffic calming measures. This is likely to get even worse when Diener school moves into Old Georgetown Rd. Given there is no sidewalk it is a very challenging area to walk safely, and there no easy spots to pull over with a stroller, walker, etc. It would be wonderful if the sidewalk along Alta Vista Rd. extended to the end of the forest conversation and if there were a speed bump or some traffic control along Locust area.

This section of MD 650 New Hampshire Ave is supposed to have had 3 to 5 foot wide bike paths on each side since 1980's Montgomery County bike master plan. It has never been correctly striped. The bike lanes have gaps and shrink to less than one foot. MD SHA has never corrected this situation despite my repeated requests, including when I was on the MD SHA Bicycle Advisory Committee.

Improve intersection. Cars turning right from Cedar Lane to Rockville Pike get a green light for their turn right only lane at the same time that pedestrians get walk symbol to cross Rockville Pike. Need to convert to green turn arrow only when pedestrians don’t have wall symbol

I ride on Bosley nearly every day. The bike lane is more of a problem than a help. About 5% of the drivers will pass at high speed dangerously close to the bike's left-hand grip. I need to use this road to travel to and from my office on campus but I can understand why the bike lane this close to a university campus is nearly empty. it I have seen other bike users give up riding entirely after there first few close misses in the format of bike lane.

It is impossible to traverse via Bike to make a left onto Kenilworth Drive as the bike lane is located on the far right and would require 4 lanes of traffic to cross to make this left coming from "downtown" Towson. The topography enables drives to speed up at this section from Joppa to Kenilworth and it's not safe.
