5 Way intersection. City owns streets but SHA controls intersection. Multiple collisions and pedestrian incidents/ near misses. No crosswalks or cycling facilities exist. This intersection is the main crossing point for students at Wicomico High School from the adjacent neighborhoods. My partner was struck by a vehicle at this intersection.

How are you engaging this community? They are avid walkers and bikers in our community and are at risk on much of our existing transportation infrastructure. They need targeted outreach in Spanish via established channels and trusted community partners.

This is Eastern Avenue, which is on the border between MD and DC, and DC "owns" it, including all traffic lanes and I'm not sure about the MtR side of the sidewalks. But it has many pedestrians from the neighborhood coming to get the bus on RI Ave and the cars speed ridiculously fast up Eastern, playing chicken with each other, zooming all over the place to try to get around left turning ones at the intersection, etc. Peds who are on the sidewalk are one driver's sneeze or one-second distraction away from being mowed down, that's how close the lanes and drivers are to the sidewalks where we walk.

The west side of this street has such a narrow sidewalk it's basically unusable.

This is a BGE Right-of-Way. MDOT should work with BGE/PEPCO Exelon to create hiking/biking crushed gravel paths/trails where these exist through highly developed areas in the state. This was done in Montgomery County already and could be replicated. The land in most cases is available and if just crusher run gravel style trails are done it should be relatively cheap by infrastructure standards. This particular corridor connect 9 Howard County Public Schools and 3 large parks.

People all along Route 1 have bits and pieces of sidewalk in a community that has a lot of walkers and people who would use a bike if it was safe to. Please redesign US 1 in its entirety to address the needs of industrial/commercial businesses as well as retail/residential. Pedestrians are struck regularly, biking is never safe and traffic vehicle collisions are perpetual. Intersection redesign, traffic calming, pedestrian and bike facilities are all needed.

MD-108 is primary arterial roadway that needs both pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure. Multiple schools and commercial areas are in the corridor, including large box retail operations along with communities adjacent that have lower rates of car ownership and would significantly benefit from access. People constantly walking along this corridor in high vehicle speed conditions

Create Walking and vehicular access off of Deerpath Rd to the Dorsey MARC Station. Currently parking access is only off of Route 100. Access from this direction could allow bicycle and pedestrian traffic from MD-103 corridor where currently its impossible without going over a variety of curbs to get there illegally. Apartment communities are developing in the area and the whole radius area needs to be designated Transit Oriented Development zoning with mixed uses.

The entirety of Route 103 from the Dorsey MARC station to St. Johns Lane needs a protected bicycle lane. It connects people to transit, creates a connection to ride to Old Ellicott City and would provide access to at least a half dozen Howard County Schools along with giving people access to the US Route 1 and US29 Corridors and the commercial businesses in the area.

There's a gap in the sidewalk here. People cross rt 40 to walk to the shops, but there's no way to go through here. I used to try to walk to hmart from the neighborhood and you eould end up walking on grass

Sidewalk ends halfwya up bethany, doesn't connect to the neighborhoods. I would like to be able to walk to the intersection of bethany and rt 40. There's a grocery store there, and restaurants. I do not feel safe walking on bethany.

Ebenezer Road has plenty of width to accommodate dedicated bike lanes with flexiposts. This road should be improved with dedicated bike facilities to connect neighborhoods to the middle school, high school, and shopping area along Ebenezer.

There is an opportunity to improve bike/ped connectivity to the White Marsh Park and Ride, especially if shared use trails can be added/completed on Perry Hall and Honeygo Boulevards.

Cowenton Road connects many neighborhoods to Cowenton Ridge park and Honeygo Village, but lacks consistent roadway/sidewalk improvements to slow traffic and address bike/ped safety.

Honeygo Boulevard connects many neighborhoods, business/shopping areas (including grocery stores), and several schools, parks, and libraries. One side should be improved to include a wide shared-use path/trail to provide continuous safe bike/pedestrian connection from Perry Hall Blvd to Belair Rd.

The northeast trail should be completed from Perry Hall Boulevard up to Perry Hall High School. More housing is being built in this area and these areas should be better connected.

State should use eminent domain to ensure continuous sidewalk along this stretch of road.

Unacceptable that purple line construction was allowed to tear up the roads and sidewalks along 193 and leave that mess there for years. The state should levy fines or make sure construction projects are not allowed to leave unsafe conditions.

This side of Adelphi Road has no sidewalk, which is completely unacceptable given there are children walking along this route to and from school. There is no marked crosswalk for people to cross Riggs to get to the bus stop. Water ponds along this area as well, making people have to walk closer to the road.

Ped/Bike Beach Path from 94th Street to 118th Street in the common/public area west of the dunes, east of the condominium buildings. This public area could be paved to make way for pedestrian and bicyclists, and would connect the busy 94th Street to Wight Street at 118th Street
