This area is one of the poorest section in District 1, Baltimore county. Residents are near many parks with no access. There is a bridge over the BW Parkway, With minimal trail construction the stae/county could connect Sandy Hills Skate Park (the oldest in America) with a trail to the bridge via an alley , fix the bridge (better lighting, clean up) then a trail on the east side to connect to Virginia ave. This will allow easy access to Southwest Area Park. Eventually (hopefully) all os this will connect to the Patapsco Greenway.

Easiest connection to cross the very busy Rt 40. The county owns most of the land, crossing light at rt40 already exists, also needs hand activated bike signal to make crossing easier. Ultimatetly this will connect the bike lanes on Edmondson Ave to the Crosby rd bike lanes as well as connect Patapsco state park south of Rt40 to Patapsco north Rt40.

MDOT, the County, and WMATA need to figure out ways to make Landover Metro Station more accessible for pedestrians and cyclists. It's absolutely insane that a house that is approximately 500 feet from the Metro platform is over a 1.5 mile walk away. Our metro stations are a huge asset. This major resource is being wasted.

There's about 1/2 mile between marked crosswalks on this section of MD 450. MDSHA should add a marked crosswalk and/or traffic signal somewhere in the middle. This is especially important for pedestrian access to the B24/B27/F4/F13/G12/G14 bus stops on either side of MD 450.

There's about 1/2 mile between marked crosswalks on this section of MD 450. MDSHA should add a marked crosswalk and/or traffic signal somewhere in the middle ((e.g., 77th Ave or Garrison Road). This is especially important for pedestrian access to the new Purple Line Station being built nearby. It would also improve access to the F13/T18 bus stops on either side of MD 450.

Add the missing marked crosswalk here. This is especially important for pedestrian and bus riders' access to the new Purple Line Station being built nearby. MDSHA should update its policy to add marked crosswalks on all legs of signalized intersections to support neighborhood walkability and access to public transit stops.

MDOT should support and provide technical assistance to the Prince George's County Department of Public Works & Transportation to change its policies to ensure needed all ages and abilities bike facilities get built by default and to support the county's commitment to Vision Zero (i.e., eliminating traffic fatalities and serious injuries). The unprotected bike lanes on MD202, among 5 lanes of cars and trucks traveling 50+ mph, are not safe. This area needs either protected bike lanes or shared-use sidepaths. Residents in this area deserve safer bicycle facilities. Prince George's County Department of Public Works and Transportation needs to change its policies of refusing to build protected bike lanes and/or to assume maintenance of bicycle facilities along state roads. It's unacceptable and inexcusable that concerns about an average of 0-3 accumulating snow events a year is the excuse for not building safe infrastructure to protect residents the other 350+ days a year.
