The alley is a two way, drivers doing high rate of speed to come down the alley while others are coming up the alley can be dangerous . Possibly a mirror so you can see someone who’s going to make a turn down the alley from 11th and speed needs to be enforced around the park
Tickets need to be given out at this intersection!! The sheriff car sitting there at times does deter some of the drivers who do NOT follow the arrows. Then they race through the light, cut people off. Maybe put some signs or mark the road a little earlier (heading toward North St). Wilkes Barre can make a mint on this intersection.
Crossing Carson st to go into the alley is dangerous because of all the cars parked on the side of the road, when you look up Carson there is little visibility and drivers speed down Carson without regard for others
Drivers flying around the playground at very high rates of speed down manhattan ct and around the playground, a child is going to get killed by these drivers. They also have very loud exaust systems on their cars. Others fly around the playground blaring music going speeds higher than 40mph various times of the day, and night
At diamond and church st people make a second lane, when people are waiting to turn left up church st others are impatient and make a second lane to pass the person trying to turn up church, resulting in high rate of speed passing, another frequent accident scene
Railroad tracks/road need attention. Vehicles go into oncoming lanes to avoid the condition of the road/tracks/
Blytheburn Road and Church Road intersection. Stop sign should be placed on Blytheburn Road and removed from Church Road. Church Road is the main road here and should not have the stop sign. A stop sign at Blytheburn Road gives drives better visibility of traffic coming at them.
This has become a dangerous intersection. There needs to be a green arrow for those turning left into the Luzerne County lot.
The intersection at Wyoming Avenue and Butler Street is currently uncontrolled, with only one stop sign in place. This has created a serious safety hazard, as drivers frequently speed through the intersection without slowing down or checking for pedestrians. The lack of a stop sign increases the risk of accidents and makes it extremely dangerous for children, especially those walking home from Dan Flood Elementary School, who must cross this intersection daily.
Children and families are often forced to navigate fast-moving traffic without any traffic control measures to protect them. The presence of a stop sign would significantly reduce vehicle speeds, improve visibility for drivers and pedestrians, and help ensure that all road users can cross safely.
Implementing a two way stop sign at this location is a proactive step toward preventing a tragic accident and ensuring the safety of children and residents in the community.
From the ave down to the lcta offices road is horrible it feels like your 4 wheeling and dodging potholes the whole way
Edges of roadway has not been graded in years. Water stays on roadway and creates issues with ice in winter and standing water during rain storms. Weeds overgrown into the path of travel.
Scott st going left onto the Blvd green arrow is literally 3 seconds long then goes red not a solid green
Poorly marked for weight restriction. Multiple overweight and over length trucks on this roadway every day. Local police enforce ordinance but more has to be done to notify trucks they aren't permitted.
Rather dangerous intersection. Multiple crashes occur here every year. Most likely needs a traffic light instead of stop sign.
Flashing lights on all 4 ways of intersection preparing motorists for the light at the whole intersection of market and Pennsylvania Ave the amount of accidents I see here is unbelievable not too mention I've come extremely close twice turning left onto market from south Pennsylvania ave
The entire length of Blytheburn Road pavement is a absolute mess. Repairs are futile at best. Cars swerve into oncoming lane to avoid damaging their vehicle. Weeds are overgrown on the edges of the roadway, leaning into lane of travel and prevent seeing deer on the edges as well as making it impossible for cars and bicycles to share the roadway safely.
At the light turning onto market towards kingston off the square ive noticed a lot of people dont know you can turn onto market from the middle lane
I've noticed a lot more bikes in this part of river street over the past year or so, not the safest area but not sure what can be done.
Some people will cross from the ramp to Maffett Street over to River street to avoid traffic backup or because signs are unclear.
Sunken drain grate and persistent potholes causing people to slow and swerve unexpectedly, drain also fills with water during heavy rain.
Do Not Enter sign missing, causing people to exit the gas station against traffic.
Road is washing away on the mountain side. Big area of ground has washed away, and assault is starting to chip away.
Block the turning line into kmart plaza. This will stop car from passing in a turning line under a light
The road floods constantly due to improper installment repaid road
George Avenue
Desperately needs to be widened or parking on one side only!
Too narrow a road for paking on both sides and two way traffic
