Needs an all ways stop when the pedestrian button is activated. Cars do not respect the pedestrian right of way here, especially those turning left from downtown to WB BLVD
Turning from Market on to Kennedy Blvd is treacherous as there is minimal sight line down the road to look for oncoming traffic! Especially from the closest lane on Kennedy which is the lane to turn left onto Market St. The sight-line issue causes Market St drivers to nose-out into Kennedy to see before they turn, which then further affects those making the tight left off Kennedy onto Market. Maybe a signal is needed at this intersection, otherwise a redesign of the corner of CVS's parking lot to allow for better sight-line down Kennedy.
Left turn lane needs to be more clear. The amount of close calls from people driving straight from the turn lane is an accident wait to happen.
There should be a side walk so people can walk safely. I recall someone being hit here recently. There are a bunch of shops (wegmans, price chopper, Malacari’s, etc) that aren’t accessible for pedestrians. I often am driving to wegmans at night and when passing Home Depot see people dressed in all black walking and I’m afraid I or someone else will hit them.
Drivers do not seem to be aware that traffic coming from the Rutter Ave bridge and 309 exit do not have a stop sign at this intersection. Cars coming from Welles Street and Rutter Avenues often run the stop signs or pull out in front of oncoming traffic. Many near misses and accidents have occurred. Turning or traveling through this intersection is dangerous.
This abandoned railroad bed should be turned into a trail or linear park
Non locals don’t know about the east not having a stop sign. Near crashes almost every day
More roundabouts like this are welcome
San Souci Pkwy reconstruction has no accommodation for pedestrians or bicyclists. Instead of an extra large shoulder, add some sidewalks or a bike lane
STOP line marking missing on 8th street

Clarks Lane and Bowl Complex Rd. There is heavy traffic on these roads in a residential area, and excessive speeding on both. Signs state 20 and 15 mph respectively, though few obey. There are several stop signs which most people simply run. In addition, off-road (ATVs/dirt bikes, etc) constantly drive these at high speeds, even through intersections and vandalize public property.
Bear Creek Road in Dupont at the connecting area with Suscon Road in Pittston Township.
Vascar speed detection is needed in this extremely busy traffic area as daily unsafe speeding drivers exit both industrial parks.
Pittston Township has installed this Vascar system further up Suscon Road, above and beyond the industrial parks areas, where only the minimum amount of mostly local traffic travels.
The majority of all traffic, including speeding traffic, occurs with drivers exiting both industrial parks and traveling down the hill throughout the connecting area of Bear Creek Road and Suscon Road.
This particular area is overloaded and dangerous for many traffic related reasons, both passenger cars and trucks alike.
Please help and thank you.
Both connecting roadways of Suscon Road Pittston Township and Bear Creek Road Dupont throughout the clearly posted 10 ton weight restricted section zone.
Starting from the intersection of Suscon Road at Armstrong Road contiuning through the Intersection of Bear Creek Road at Chestnut Street.
Daily illegal and overweight truck traffic proceeding unenforced throughout this 10 ton weight restricted section of these two busy and overloaded roadways.
Please help and thank you.
From the intersection of Old Boston Road, Jenkins Township, traveling North on Route 315, a buffer is needed for the traffic turning onto Old Boston Road.
The traffic waiting to turn from 315 onto Old Boston Road is facing oncoming traffic that is traveling within a few inches of them and at excessive speed.
The area from Old Boston Road to Pazzo’s restaurant needs to be repainted to create a buffer
Also within the same area south bound traffic on 315 have no over head visual signs at the Old Boston Road Intersection that the left lane is left turn only.
This overhead signage is present at the next intersection moving south.
When traffic is backed up on Route 81, north or southbound Route 315 is used as an expressway and motorists are speeding, and are not familiar with the roadways.
Also the cross walk signal was damaged by a tractor trailer at the same intersection.
Please contact me for an on site inspection. I am available mostly every day,
I am forwarding this safety issue to Representative James Haddock and Senator Martin Flynn
Concrete divider is a hazard! Not clearly marked, no lines on the road to indicate it there until you suddenly come upon if unfamiliar with this road heading south. The divider even seems misaligned with the natural driving path.
Possible subsidence on one side of roadway
This area has an abundance of speeding vehicles. We need speed detection devices on the poles! This area is absolutely dangerous for anyone visiting the many businesses nearby.
This area, Union street, has a significant issue with speeding traffic. This is a 25mph area and it's nothing but a racing drag strip. We need speed detectors on these poles! As well as more enforcement before someone gets seriously hurt!
Dangerous speeding and texting while driving
The pedestrian crosswalks at the intersection of South Franklin and West South Streets are badly worn and should be re-striped. Because of high pedestrian traffic throughout downtown Wilkes-Barre, all intersections should have properly designed crosswalks.
Kids like to cross Wyoming Ave here and it is dangerous
There are no marked pedestrian crosswalks at the intersection of South Franklin and West South Streets. Because of high pedestrian traffic throughout downtown Wilkes-Barre, all intersections should have properly designed crosswalks.
Would like to see more tunnel crossings like this under busy roads
Cars going straight onto the bridge need to adjust slightly to stay in their lanes. many often don't, or choose to lane shift in the intersection.
