On this curve trees and weeds are overgrown causing signs which indicate a curve to be covered and lighting to be diminished. Also because of shade potholes are forming and blacktop is deteriorating has been patched several times but trees and weeds need to be cut down

People often pull past the STOP HERE a sign and end up in the intersection which is dangerous and disrupts traffic. It is better since the light on township blvd has been changed but still has a lot of issues of people too eager to shove through on yellow and red.

Weeds or flowers are too tall along both sides of w river st at the corner. Pedestrians and vehicles don’t have visibility at this intersection.

To add to a previous comment. According to Pennsylvania traffic law, an intersection in which the traffic signal does not have power, it becomes an all way stop. The signal has never been turned on and the bags that were covering the lights rotted off. Out of area drivers following the rule stop in the middle of traffic and are in danger of being rear ended.

Although there is a sign to "Stop here on Red" there is no white broad line to indicate it on the road. Vehicles in the intersection block busses, fire trucks, and other large vehicle from making a right turn from S. River St.

Vehicles utilize the emergency pull off lane coming from Kidder St.as a lane of traffic to make the right at the cross valley interchange. Vehicles coming from Plains making a left now unknowingly have 3 lanes of traffic flow to watch for.

Trying to cross this as a pedestrian is insane. I’ve almost been killed here a few times because there’s green arrows going as the pedestrian walk sign is lit

At night, 3/4 of the intersection street lamps are burned out. Pedestrians from the hotel often walk to Sheets for after business hours food and drink.

Drivers making a left turn (or U Turn) from W North Street (Southbound) have left arrow the same time as N River Street (Westbound) has a right arrow. Causing U-turners and right turners to have a conflicting right-of-way.

Not sure what can be done here, but the drivers exiting Kohl's do not yield. They then proceed to shoot across 2 lanes to get into the left lane to turn left onto Coal St. Maybe instead of having a yield sign, put in a stop light to go along with the one with Sheets/Kohl's.

Someone is going to die here. People turn very fast down Garibaldi, or just don’t even stop at the stop sign and fly out of there.

Drivers frequently use this road 11th st, as a two way, it is a one way road. There are many parked cars and people will try to go up the road when it’s a one way.

The alley is a two way, drivers doing high rate of speed to come down the alley while others are coming up the alley can be dangerous . Possibly a mirror so you can see someone who’s going to make a turn down the alley from 11th and speed needs to be enforced around the park

Tickets need to be given out at this intersection!! The sheriff car sitting there at times does deter some of the drivers who do NOT follow the arrows. Then they race through the light, cut people off. Maybe put some signs or mark the road a little earlier (heading toward North St). Wilkes Barre can make a mint on this intersection.

Crossing Carson st to go into the alley is dangerous because of all the cars parked on the side of the road, when you look up Carson there is little visibility and drivers speed down Carson without regard for others

Drivers flying around the playground at very high rates of speed down manhattan ct and around the playground, a child is going to get killed by these drivers. They also have very loud exaust systems on their cars. Others fly around the playground blaring music going speeds higher than 40mph various times of the day, and night

At diamond and church st people make a second lane, when people are waiting to turn left up church st others are impatient and make a second lane to pass the person trying to turn up church, resulting in high rate of speed passing, another frequent accident scene

Railroad tracks/road need attention. Vehicles go into oncoming lanes to avoid the condition of the road/tracks/

Blytheburn Road and Church Road intersection. Stop sign should be placed on Blytheburn Road and removed from Church Road. Church Road is the main road here and should not have the stop sign. A stop sign at Blytheburn Road gives drives better visibility of traffic coming at them.

This has become a dangerous intersection. There needs to be a green arrow for those turning left into the Luzerne County lot.

The intersection at Wyoming Avenue and Butler Street is currently uncontrolled, with only one stop sign in place. This has created a serious safety hazard, as drivers frequently speed through the intersection without slowing down or checking for pedestrians. The lack of a stop sign increases the risk of accidents and makes it extremely dangerous for children, especially those walking home from Dan Flood Elementary School, who must cross this intersection daily.

Children and families are often forced to navigate fast-moving traffic without any traffic control measures to protect them. The presence of a stop sign would significantly reduce vehicle speeds, improve visibility for drivers and pedestrians, and help ensure that all road users can cross safely.

Implementing a two way stop sign at this location is a proactive step toward preventing a tragic accident and ensuring the safety of children and residents in the community.

Edges of roadway has not been graded in years. Water stays on roadway and creates issues with ice in winter and standing water during rain storms. Weeds overgrown into the path of travel.
