Cross walk needed. Many families live in the Shadowbrook apartments, and send their children to Shasta Meadows Elementary School on Yana Ave. Currently these children ride the school bus to and from school, missing a valuable opportunity to walk a short distance, getting much needed exercise. They ride the bus to avoid the need to walk all the way to the corner of Victor and Hartnell to use a crosswalk. If they do walk, they often dart across the Hartnell at Yana to get home more directly. Hartnell is a busy street and dangerous for this type of crossing. A cross walk is needed here with additional signage. It is likely to be most heavily used just before and after school. It should have a yellow flashing light that can be activated by pedestrian presence, since it will not be a crossing that drivers are used to.

Need a signal light at Hilltop & St Thomas Pkwy. Very dangerous intersection for walkers, bikers, and drivers, now that the speed has been raised to 45mph with drivers going closer to 50!!

Just a quick note: the bike ramp has NOT been set up as of January 26, 2017!

The dam has a bike ramp that was always up, except when they were using the crane. I've asked the guards when it will be reinstalled, they said soon. That's been almost a year! As of last month (January 26, 2016) it was still not up: yet it sits behind the guard shack... We really need that replaced!

Need a thru bike lane so we don't get caught in the right turn lane, when going north on Lake Blvd @ Pine Grove Ave. Lots of traffic turning onto Pine Grove off northbound Lake Blvd. Now we have to use the traffic lane going north with lots of cars & buses alongside.

Coming south is much better because few cars come down Walker Mine Rd: but a thru bike lane would be helpful there also.

There needs to be a consistent side walk on the east side of Churn Creek after you pass Autozone parts.

There is a need for another marked crosswalk between Hartnell and Cypress Ave on Churn Creek.

Old 44 and Oak run rd not safe for bikes! Very narrow rd. Logging trucks, stock trailers

Very narrow on Victor here. At night it is also very dark. Many pedestrians, people in wheelchairs and bikes are on the shoulder very close to traffic.

These neighborhoods should be linked together with a walking and biking trail. Right now you have to drive way out and around and it's not pleasant to go ride a bike along Twin View and I-5. For example, a trail to connect Gold Hills to Hollow Lane / Northridge Estates. And also Churn Creek Park Subdivision to Ridge Point Estates.

It would be great to have a bridge across Churn Creek so people in the residential areas to the west of the creek could easily access the Lema Ranch trails. Also would help kids going to school and anyone traveling east and west.

There should be sidewalks along all of Canby

If they really build a casino here, could a trail along the river be included? It would serve local residents as well as be a draw for tourists. Maybe connect from Bechelli to Knighton.

It would be great to have some trails out the west side of Country Heights that connect to the Westside Trails and/or the Clear Creek Trails.

It would be great to continue nice walking/biking area along the river south of trails by Turtle Bay. For example, a trail that links the Dana to Downtown trail to Park Marina, perhaps going under the Hwy 44 bridge. Plus making a 'trail like experience' along Park Marina....such as 2-way cycle track on the east side of it. Or better yet, a trail along the water and revamp some of the development to include more river side dining and businesses (with the trail between the businesses and the river). That could be a big draw....kayak rental on the water, fine dining, casual coffee shop or pizza by the slice....some variety with other businesses and riverside housing.

Speed limit is too high 45mpd from Palisades Ave to Lake Blvd. This section of Hilltop Drive should be 35mph, because of all the bikers, walkers and walkers with dogs. Bike lane is too narrow for this fast of speed in a heavy residential area. Photo enforced speed cameras would slow ALL the traffic down and or reduce it back to 35mph!

There are 'goat paths' at the back of Enterprise School. It's much nicer for students to walk on Lawrence than go the long way on Churn Creek Rd. Also connect the neighborhoods south of campus by trail.

Could there be a trail here linking the neighborhood to Bethel? It could also help people wanting to go further north or south because they would not have to go on busy Churn Creek Rd

We love the trails at Lema Ranch to walk and get to the schools. It's nice they let the kids ride bikes to school on them.

This area is hard to walk and bike. I hope it gets much better soon because there will be much more traffic if/when Costco and other stores being planned get built

Connect the Westside Trails to the Swasey Recreation Area Trails

I often see kids riding bikes near Grant school. There needs to be better bike lanes or a separate path along the road....at least to the Swasey BLM trails.

Could these streets be linked so kids in this neighborhood can easily get to school? And also link Riverview Drive to the County office on Breslauer so people don't have to ride on Eastside Road with the trucks and gravel....or make a trail on the ACID banks.

The traffic light does not detect my bike here. It's scary waiting for light when going west because you have to wait in a blind spot as cars pop up over the railroad tracks behind you. Also so much pavement with cars/trucks going 55+ on Hwy 273. Scary spot but only place to cross the tracks for a long ways.
