Some of the bike lanes are too narrow at over passes to stay in the lane and be safe from the cars. Hilltop Lane at I 5 and 1/2 mile up Lake Blvd over the railroad.

This is posted as a recreational trail by the city, but the homeless community owns this route and it is very uncomfortable to use this. The upper reaches are a shopping cart graveyard.

Long dedicated right turn lanes at Royal Oaks and Buenaventura with only 8" solid white line for separation. Would be nice to have bike lane separation for bicycles continuing west on Eureka.

Bridge shoulder downhill west bound is too narrow and too dirty.

West bound shoulder needs to be widened from bridge for a short distance. Some how this was overlooked when the last major project was completed.

This section needs shoulders. It is far too dangerous to ride.

The entire Airport Road / Old Oregon Trail corridor between Dersch Road and I-5 to the north needs to be upgraded with Class I, Class II, shoulders, or a combination of fore said. This is a major north / south route.

Boulder Drive is a poor link because of dangers at both ends. The Class I should be connected with a new link parallel between Hwy 299 and Boulder Drive.

People parking in Class II bicycle lanes on both sides of Deschutes Road, Cedro Lane (Road), and Old 44 Drive. These lanes have been a problem as they are often blocked by one ore more parked cars. We need "No Parking" signs on all three roads.

This Class II bicycle lane needs "No Parking" signs as most of our other Class II bicycle lanes need the same.

This is the safest place to walk in town in terms of vehicle/pedestrian interactions and yet there is very little or nothing interesting here to walk to. Let's make this place safer, shadier, and better for shopping and dining.

A lot of people walk from the parking structure to the medical buildings along this street and do not use the crosswalk closer to Butte Street. Maybe another crosswalk is needed here.

Lots of pedestrians cross from the parking lot to the health clinic here. A dedicated crosswalk here would make things safer for everyone.

Left turn for bikes traveling between two major routes is very dangerous. Consider a turn lane and signage

This beautiful riparian forest is full of trash and human feces. It should be preserved, patrolled and the access points and paths improved so all city residents can access this open space to safely recreate and reconnect with the river that is central to our city.

Cyling a loop through Oak Run and Whitmore down to Palo Cedro could be so fun but it terrifies me becuase there are very narrow shoulders and local residents probably do not expect cyclists as they speed around blind curves. More signage, better shoulders and a Share the Road campaign are needed to help this premier cycling route reach its potential.

It would be great to have a nice trail linking Simpson U, Shasta College, Bethel, and senior housing and connect to trails / bikeways / housing to the west and south. It would be great for College students to feel safe traveling to class so they can not be so dependent on cars and associated costs.

Drivers on Keswick Dam Rd do not have much warning about the trail crossing. Could better signage be added leading up the trail to indicate bikes/walkers cross a head?

Heading east, this would be a great location for a bike box (http://nacto.org/publication/urban-bikeway-design-guide/intersection-treatments/bike-boxes/). It's a safer way for cyclists to turn left, and would ultimately make access to the river trail a bit easier. It also looks fairly inexpensive to implement.

This is the same comment I have for the intersection of Yuba & East. This crosswalk is not well lit at night. I would like to see signal put here like on Cypress that would make drivers aware of walkers and vice versa.

I either drive down to East Street heading home to the Garden Tract or walk through this intersection. It is not very well lit and would like to see light there like on Cypress that would allow a walker to notify traffic that a pedestrian is using the crosswalk.

I have noticed that this streets gets heavy traffic use with people leaving the hospital. It appears to be a short cut where cars drive a high speeds for a neighborhood (30 MPH). I would like a sign of some sort but there indicating that kids are playing basketball in the street, etc.
