Provide access to parking garage via this man door. Asking people to walk back to their cars via the vehicular access is dangerous. If we want people to use this garage, we need to encourage them to do so without risking their safety.

The sidewalk on this stretch of Montgomery Ave is dangerously narrow (Valley Rd to Bleddyn Rd & Woodside to Valley Rd). To increase foot traffic from neighborhoods north and reduce travel by car to downtown Ardmore, this sidewalk needs to be widened. There are sections that are not wide enough for a stroller or wheelchair to fit. There is also no road verge between the very narrow sidewalk and the road to offer any protection. Additionally, most cars drive over the speed limit here. Please widen the sidewalk for everyone's safety.

Storefronts should be more accessible from Lancaster, relying less on parking in the back. Many stores have rear parking, which becomes their front entrance, because Lancaster is like a highway in a residential shopping district. To this end, Lancaster should be more pedestrian friendly and walkable.

Me and my brother, who uses a wheelchair, are very appreciative that Ardmore Station is becoming ADA compliant so he can finally use SEPTA's Region Rail system - or hop on an Amtrak to New York. We understand that big infrastructure projects take time (the Benjamin Franklin Parkway took 40 years) and we have been looking forward to these improvements since we found out about their planning in 2016. I resent that someone resents this necessary and much appreciated work. The old station was terrible even if you didn't use a wheelchair.

Bicycles do not belong on roads with cars, as bike riders never observe traffic laws and put everyone - drivers, walkers, themselves - at risk. We should not have bike lanes on most of our roads, and definitely not on roads with heavy traffic such as Lancaster and Montgomery Avenues.

Would love to see a restaurant here with outdoor dining replacing half the attached parking lot.

If it's not already, would love to see all the land located within 1/4 mile of the Ardmore Train Station to be zoned for higher density / taller height. This is a perfect opportunity to relieve the housing pressure in our community while adhering to the best practices of Transit Oriented Design. And people who can walk to the train station to commute don't need to own / use as many cars, relieving traffic congestion as well.

The sidewalks in downtown Ardmore should be widened to allow for more pedestrian safety and comfort - and to allow restaurants to provide pleasant outdoor seating.

Would like the downtown section of Lancaster Pike (between Church and Woodside streets) to be made three lanes - one lane in each direction and a center turning lane. This would not only calm traffic in this busy pedestrian zone (as it has done in Ambler on the other side of the county) but would allow the sidewalks to be widened, which is necessary to help pedestrians feel safe and would allow for more pleasant outdoor dining space for all the restaurants located on Lancaster Ave. The sidewalks are currently dangerously narrow, especially for children and people, like my brother, with mobility issues.

Lancaster Ave. should be three lane (one lane in each direction + turning lane) from Ardmore Ave. to Church Rd. This would calm traffic, and the space reclaimed from the current fourth lane can be used for wider sidewalks. Slower traffic and wider sidewalks would make the street much more attractive for pedestrian shoppers and strollers. And incidentally, A six or eight story height limit is entirely appropriate for this area.

Could this be a location for median diagonal parking and parallel parking at the curb? Street trees in the median would shade the massive width of this street. the diagonal parking in the median could be restricted for events or market festival stalls.

Thisis a gateway for Suburban square - trees, signage, benches, etc.

This intersection has incomplete sidewalks, random crosswalk locations, and too narrow sidewalks. It is a common gateway to Suburban square, especially for walkers and cyclists. Trees, wider sidewalks, bike sharrows or lanes should be added.

Need a road diet on Montgomery Avenue - it is so dangerous, and completely unusable for people on bikes or walking. one lane in each direction and a center turning lane would make it so much safer for cars and people. the turning cars block the middle lane and then people dart around them making accidents

Skating rink? we need some better active places.

There is so much new parking in the garage for suburban square - could this be a plaza with stores around it? Or commuter parking with a skating rink?

This should be developed as housing and stores - with so much new parking in the garage, this can be housing.

New mixed use development should be located on Bijou - Apartments and retail.

I love catching the bus here. Nice shelter.

This intersection is a major pedestrian crossing yet it has no walk signs. Traffic has obstructed views of people on the south side of Lancaster Ave and the traffic behaves accordingly.
A close second observation here is traffic going down the incline on Church road routinely (let's say 1 in 4 cars) ignores the no right turn from 3 to 6 pm signage, making a pedestrian crossing even worse.

Please reduce Montgomery Ave to 1 lane in each direction with shoulders or bike lanes on the right sides of the road between Bala Cynwyd and Woodside Avenue. I walk with my family daily to Suburban Square and we do not feel safe with motorists speeding past us at 35 to 50 mph. Biking on Montgomery Avenue is an exercise in patience, especially when motorists zip past you leaving less than a 6 foot gap between bicycle and motor vehicle. Furthermore, in the 10 months living here, I have seen 4 collisions occur at Montgomery Ave and Woodside by the Exxon station. Motorists very rarely respect the 25 mph speed limit and I've never seen traffic enforcement on this road.
Much work needs to be done to promote alternative modes of transportation such as bicycles and to guarantee pedestrian safety in Lower Merion.

BUILD UP, NOT OUT!!!!! 3-4 story building limit is an abomination!!!!!!!

This should be a 6-story parking garage instead of a flat lot, if people are so damn concerned about their parking. Frankly, this entire area should be built up since it's right on top of public transit, which would logically provide green, environmentally-conscious and progressive transit-oriented development. That is the only way to facilitate the use of public transit and the reduction of vehicle traffic on Lancaster Ave. How the development committee can cave to stone-age boomers and overlook this blatantly obvious fact is completely mind-boggling.

What is proposed to make the One Ardmore Place garage safer? It's all well and good to try to encourage more use of the garage, but with its reputation for criminal activity people are unlikely to increase their use of it.

If this lot becomes a park, I will never be able to frequent the businesses on this part of Lancaster Avenue that don't have their own exclusive parking. I've heard too much of vandalism in the One Ardmore garage to park there at night, and there just isn't enough parking for people who don't live close enough to walk to this area. This open lot provides relatively safe (i.e., open and visible) access to Lancaster Avenue.
