I appreciate all suggestions for reducing traffic on Lancaster. However, the measures should be such that traffic doesn't simply shift to Montgomery Ave (already busier than it should be) or other residential areas. Measures to reduce traffic should encourage people to leave their cars at home, walk, bike, use public transport, or carpool. Something like park+ride (with a parking lot at the edge of town for those coming from further away) might help, too.

There should be speed traps at regular intervals on Montgomery Ave and Lancaster Ave (both directions) to enforce the speed limit. Fines (and I'm sure there would be plenty - most drivers seem to speed) could be used to support initiatives for pedestrians or cyclists...

There are two township parking signs on this block and both say different things. One of them even says don't back into the spots; how else can you park in a parrallell parking spot? Township should map all outdated/redundant parking signs and ensure consistent design/info etc. Google and Apple maps should be reviewed to ensure parking lots show up with correct info and directions for people using those to find parking.

Establish a bike lane on Lancaster (or Montgomery) to keep cyclists safe on the streets, encourage folks to leave their cars at home and thus help with noise, traffic volume, safety and climate change.

Traffic on Montgomery is way faster than the speed limit, very loud, and traffic volume seems inappropriate for a (mostly) residential area (noise, exhaust, health and safety). A radar speed trap to police the current speed limit or reduction (and policing) of speed limit is urgently needed.

this garage is poorly marked and grossly underused a lot of people have no idea it exists

Make Station Road one way going east from Anderson Avenue to Lancaster Avenue. (Traffic that currently heads west can simply go around the block and turn right at Anderson Ave.) Make road narrower and widen sidewalks to allow DePauls Steakhouse, the coffee house, Maido and Ardmore Station Cafe a wider sidewalk to accommodate outdoor tables and chairs. Plant lush landscaping with street trees and flower boxes. Replace asphalt pavement with European style cobblestones to slow traffic and make it safer as a pedestrian-friendly, more aesthetically pleasing welcome plaza for train passengers disembarking, for restaurant patrons, and shoppers who may want to walk from Suburban Square and have a nicer, more enticing pedestrian experience to get to Lancaster Ave, Rittenhouse Place and beyond. Replace ugly tall street light poles with more human scale, village-style 12' high poles similar to those found around Suburban Square. Consider closing this plaza on Sundays for concerts or other events.

Could this streetc be closed after the parking lot and S. Cricket Terrrace entrances? This could be closed down part of the time or all of the time for events akin to Media's dining under the stars.

Left turn signal from Church Road onto Lancaster, traffic always backed up on the North side coming from Suburban Square.

This is another school on Argyle, along with AUMP preschool , Torah Academy and Regina. Argyle is a busy road and should be 25mph from Wynnewood to Lanacaster . These feeder roads into the business area should be slower pedestrian activities are promoted.

Perpendicular parking backing out on to Lancaster Avenue seems dangerous and results in unnecessarily wide pedestrian crosswalks.

Lots of curb cuts for the shopping center, McDonalds, public parking lot. Could they be consolidated?

Consolidate parking meters? Add landscaping between parking and sidewalk?

More landscaping or a low wall to screen the parking would be nice. Sidewalk width is constrained by utility poles, parking meters, etc.

There is a clear pedestrian cut-through path at this corner from Sibley Avenue to the Trader Joe's - could this be a formalized pedestrian entrance into Suburban Square?

Good example of streetscape improvements with redevelopment - the landscaped verge and having the building set-up to the street (rather than the parked cards overhanging the sidewalk) make a big difference

Needs street trees and/or landscaped verge

Traffic signal post blocks crosswalk, no ADA curb ramp, no bus stop amenities

A pedestrian walkway/stairway should be created here. Purchase one building, demolish it and create a connection that would serve the train station, connect parking areas, and allow for pedestrian flow.

Convert angled parking into parallel, reducing the paved roadway area, and use that extra width to increase the sidewalk/streetscape to allow for outdoor dining and greening, which will activate the roadway and create the street life that is difficult to achieve on a busy street with a lot of physical limitations, like Lancaster Avenue.

The Septa buses here parked in front of Trader Joe's create an unnecessary obstruction. Cars pulling out of the lot cannot see oncoming traffic from Coulter, because the buses are always parked here. This intersection can get quite hectic. Better to move the bus stop a little bit further up or down Coulter (even to the next block in front of the Farmers Market).

Better visibility to the pedestrian pathways. Greening and lighting to make the spaces feel more comfortable.

The brick sidewalk is in desperate need of repair. The trees are causing the bricks to become uneven and is a trip-hazard to pedestrians.
