There should be some sort of demarcation across Edgewood Road along Montgomery to indicate that you are entering a neighborhood - perhaps Belgian blocks, pavers or carved bricks like they have at the entrace of many driveways including at the new apt building, 100 St Georges. Almost like a raised cross walk.

Cars on Montgomery Ave often speed through the intersection with Anderson Avenue (and other intersections) and run red lights. Please consider adding a camera and warning sign that running a red light will lead to a violation.

Frequently, drivers getting a green light to turn onto Montgomery Avenue will turn right into pedestrians trying to cross Montgomery. Place a sign on the south east corner of the intersection of Montgomery Ave and Anderson Avenue, facing south towards Lancaster Avenue, stating: Yield to Pedestrians.

It better to have more long time parking spots.

Montgomery Avenue in this area is dangerous for pedestrians and cyclists. Reduced lanes, other traffic calming, bike lanes are all needed in this residential neighborhood. The 25mph section fronting Churchill Court I’d rarely observed by motorists. Vehicles attempting to turn into the many residences along this stretch are hurried into their drives by speeding tailgaters exacerbating already unsafe sidewalks. A neighbor was seriously injured in this scenario while walking.

I agree with the other comment about greening this parking lot, but maybe it could be zoned for an apartment to be built at grade with the sidewalk with a minimal set back and underground parking for both residents and shoppers. This is a waste of space that generates no revenue and is in a prime location being both near Ardmore/Wynnewood and the Wynnewood SEPTA stop.

Building upon my own comment and others, Montgomery Avenue really could be reduced to two lanes with the occasional left turn lane. By narrowing these two lanes slightly (maybe even adding a median of trees) and having protected, dedicated bike lanes on each side, it will immediately encourage more folks to leave their car at home.
This could be paired with zoning changes to make the street more to scale for humans (e.g., eliminating set back requirements for apartments).

Since Montgomery Avenue has local control as opposed to Lancaster Avenue which is managed by PennDOT, I think traffic calming (narrower or fewer lanes, wider sidewalks, street trees, and bike lanes need to be implemented). This will allow people on a primarily residential street to walk or bike comfortably to Suburban Square and the Ardmore business district. Cars simply go way too fast and green strips of grass between speeding cars and pedestrians won't protect them.
Of course, whatever can be done on Lancaster to make it safer and comfortable for those who don't drive/want to drive would be great since it cuts through the Ardmore Business district. There is ample parking with the new garage, and there should also be investments in ways that make people want to travel here by other means such as biking, walking, or public transit. This would reduce the need for parking!

Make this a no left turn from Lancaster onto Station Road to keep turns from impeding traffic flow.

Decrease sidewalk on one or both sides of Lancaster to create a left-turn lane here to maintain traffic flow.

Decrease sidewalk on one or both sides of Lancaster to create a left-turn lane here. Otherwise, the constant stream of buses going to the new station garage will cause traffic to pile up.

please fix this intersection to make it safe for pedestrians, to provide better line of sight and real turning lanes. There seems to be plenty of square footage of on street parking to create a safer intersection.

Very dangerous intersection at times. You have to wait a few seconds before going due to people always blowing the light coming west with the occasional from the east. I think the intersection needs to be redesigned and include do not block the box signs.

Firehouse looks old, dull, and the front driveway looks cracked, think it is due for a modern upgrade

The light on Montgomery and Glen does not always show a walking signal even if the button is pressed. Cars turning left from Suburban Square do not stop in time and it is a hazard for walkers. Please make the walking signal automatic.

The Three routes across the train tracks are all problematic for Pedestrians and Cyclists. Church road is the least bad but the height of the bridge makes it more work to get across. If we want to make it easier to ride a bike or walk between North and South Ardmore there needs to be a major capital improvement project to build a new tunnel or convert car lanes in one of these existing crossings to create a better walking / biking experience.

cars do not reliably yield to pedestrians in this crosswalk, from either direction. I believe travel speed on ardmore ave is too high

people use county line to holland as a short cut from ardmore ave to lancaster westbound, speeding through residential neighborhood and running stop signs.

1 way stop at a three way intersection causes conflict, I have witnessed several close calls when stopped traffic pulls out in front of cross traffic that does not have a stop sign.
