Partner with CalTrans to create a park and creek restoration here along a bike/ped/horse path which links Columbia Gardens and Sobrante Park with creek side schools and MLK Shoreline and to BART upstream and Coliseum City

Great opportunity for a Bike/Ped path on wide RR median connecting GG Neighborhood to BART and calming traffic and reducing GHG

Historic Ratto Creekside Farm. A great opportunity for a public/private partnership with a Green Hotel on a Greenway, organic farming, job training, open space, native plants and fish, pathways connecting residents, schools, transit, Bay Trail, MLK shoreline and the new Coliseum City with a Bike/ped and horse path.

Create a San Leandro Creek Greenway Bike Ped pathway - safe route to school and transit

This intersection is not properly marked. It is right outside a park and the stop signs are not visible. The crosswalks are worn out.

As if it's not bad enough having a freeway bisecting the neighborhood, it's a nightmare to safely cross any of the crossings at Grand/MacArthur/Lakeshore/Lake Park. These are glorified onramps/offramps, and very pedestrian unfriendly.

please plant some trees along the lakefront path to beautify the street and serve as a buffer against fast moving traffic! lakshore/harrison is also waaaaaaaaay too wide

the pedestrian signal does change to walk on the side street (crossing perkins) unless someone presses the signal button. in an area with high pedestrian volumes this is unacceptable and was clearly designed solely with the needs of motorists in mind. this is a low cost fix and should be made for all similar intersections along the grand avenue corridor.

This particular path to cross Lakeside Dr. is very uneven and puddles easily, forcing pedestrians to seek alternate routes in the grass, which can be wet as well.

Left turn car signal for turning from 18th onto Lakeshore goes green when pedestrian crossing signal is still counting down.

Path north of this point is narrower and less even than the path south. Pedestrians and bicyclists often have trouble moving side by side on the narrower and less even path.

Continue bay trail across Fruitvale Ave with a safe crossing. Abruptly ends here on a busy street with little pedestrian infrastructure.

Finish pedestrian path from lake through Lainey to Bay trail and waterfront.

Redevelop area with more amenities and underground parking to better use space and make more walkable. Create better pedestrian access to Colesium and arena to allow connectivity with surrounding neighborhoods and public transportation.

Add street trees and plantings along Hegenburger as an entrance to Oakland coming from the airport. Add pedestrian and bike access to bay trail and MlK Jr. Park.

Add lighting and a crosswalk -- add sidewalk along embarcadero and continue bay trail frontage at water's edge.

Broadway between 12th Street BART and Jack London Square is not appealing walking in the evening because it tends to feel somewhat deserted and rather dirty. I had my purse stolen in the 12th Street BART, so I also worry about crime in the area.

Terrible intersection with cars coming in and out if the parking lot and interfering with the pedestrians' right of way. Parking lot side angle street splits up the crosswalk. I have almost gotten hit here multiple times.

Too far I between light and crosswalks-- need a way to get from the lake to Snow Park without having to walk an extra block out of your way.

Cars turning right from Grand onto embarcadero clip bikes and pedestrians. Heavy pedestrian traffic area -There are many walkers enjoying the walk around the lake. I've personally witnessed two accidents on this corner- one with a car and a bike and another with a car and a walker.

Terrible intersection!!! There are cars turning across the crosswalk at high speeds to access the freeway (on left hand and right hand sides). Not enough crosswalks. Lights don't turn for pedestrians. Close to Oakland High school so lots of youth trying to cross.

No sidewalks, unsafe with big trucks, freeway, and lights that don't turn for pedestrians.

Super busy intersection and freeway on and off ramp- too hard and unsafe to try to go between Laurel district and Mills college by foot.

Too hard to cross here- light too short, too close to freeway on ramp and cars are going too fast. Major pedestrian area with shops and restaurants of temescal but dangerous intersections at 51st and shattuck.
